Now Bill Clinton is joking about War on Terror. John Kerry is not the only Democrat joking about the war on terror these days. News director Jon Gibson, KKNT-AM in Phoenix, played the audio tape of Bill Clinton speaking these words on the campus of Arizona State University last night:
“Republicans will have you believe that Democrats will tax you into the poor house and that you’ll meet a terrorist around every corner and trip over an illegal immigrant on the way there.”
Clinton, unlike Kerry, did not “botch” the joke because the assembled crowd roared with laughter. Terrorism warnings are something to laugh about for this crowd. But they are “serious” about the war on terror and want the American people to trust them to fight it effectively.
Why one would want the likes of Clinton and Kerry to return to power in Washington is baffling in these, the most dangerous and consequential times for civilized societies in the face of Islamic terror aimed at establishing a global caliphate. J. James Estrada 11 4 06
History will judge the Clinton presidency harshly. The Gingrich led Republican Revolution of 1994 was a harsh rebuke to the Hillary Health Care Plan and the generally leftist hubris that the Clintonistas immediately brought to the WH. Remember the very, very, very first piece of legislation that the odious Clintons pushed immediately after inauguration? It was gays in the military. They didn't even consult with the joint chiefs or anyone. It was pure Hillary.
Then she had the secret meetings with health care industry officials and other Uber-Democrats in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. These private meetings (no one from the public was invited) were ruled (I forgot which court) illegal.
She has learned, though, and is now much more dangerous when she was willing to put her policies out into the public forum. Like Bill, she now conceals her true (socialist/leftist/femininst) beliefs in order to gain power (the only thing that turns on this Ice-Queen).

and the democrats would have you believe that, Bush is watching to see what book you take out of the library while he listens to your cell phone call, that is if hurricane Katrina or carbon dioxide doesn't kill you first...
I guess he thought all the people that died during his reign as fornicator and chief was a big joke too.
Some joke. It's about as tasteless as the one he told back at one of those press dinners. His comment went something like this: "You all heard that Rush Limbaugh came to the defense of Janet Reno the other day? Yeah, but that was only because she was being attacked by a black man" (John Conyers at hearings on Waco). It didn't get many laughs then either.
I don't get the joke or the humor. With them in power, his statement is a fact. The only humor I find is in what you posted. Like you, just who is he trying to kid with the modern democracy crack? Just when ya think he can't sink any lower....Bubba's never disappointn'.
This was LAST night?? The 5th?? And he says he's got 10 more stops to do??? Yeah, right!!! Between last night and election day? Good luck! 10 stops! riiiiight!

Iraq under Saddam Hussein was like any other moderate democracy where ten to twenty thousand innocent people a year are killed by the government, and where the incumbent president gets 100% of the vote in elections.
