Now Bill Clinton is joking about War on Terror. John Kerry is not the only Democrat joking about the war on terror these days. News director Jon Gibson, KKNT-AM in Phoenix, played the audio tape of Bill Clinton speaking these words on the campus of Arizona State University last night:
“Republicans will have you believe that Democrats will tax you into the poor house and that you’ll meet a terrorist around every corner and trip over an illegal immigrant on the way there.”
Clinton, unlike Kerry, did not “botch” the joke because the assembled crowd roared with laughter. Terrorism warnings are something to laugh about for this crowd. But they are “serious” about the war on terror and want the American people to trust them to fight it effectively.
Why one would want the likes of Clinton and Kerry to return to power in Washington is baffling in these, the most dangerous and consequential times for civilized societies in the face of Islamic terror aimed at establishing a global caliphate. J. James Estrada 11 4 06
And Bill Clinton would have us believe that he was one of history's best presidents when he spent the 1990s hiking taxes, pretending terrorism didn't exist and opening the flood gates to illegal aliens. I guess when you don't really believe any of those are a problem or an issue, then it's easy to make jokes about them. Take note Americans.

I guess this is Billy Jeff's way of dealing with his guilt over the fact that his do-nothing presidency made all three of these things worse on his watch: terrorism, taxes and illegal immigration.

At a little over 3 minutes into the speech he says Iraq was a democracy. However he doesn't mention that he himself ordered the bombing of that so called "democracy".

This couldn't be the X President that has a girl toy in Canada????
This couldn't be the X President that has a problem with 'nose candy'?????
This couldn't be the X President that spent his whole presidency on trying to find bin laden????

Not to mention that he inherited an economy that had just started a boom--and LEFT IT TO BUSH41 IN A RECESSION!

I just heard this on Rush. Clinton didn't admit to terrorism when the first WTC was bombed in 1993, so it's not terribly surprising he's joking about terrorism now.
Any Republican who stays home tomorrow can take this to the bank: A Democrat majority will force us to leave Iraq and our military men and women will have died in vain. It will embolden the jihadists and convince them beyond all shadow of a doubt that Americans are cut and runners and can't tolerate body bags.
If that's the face of America you want to show to those trying to kill you and your children, then by all means stay home.
Perhaps not terrorists themselves, but plenty of terrorist sympathizers/appeasers. Just look in the mirror, Bill.
