I'd expect that from Kristol, but not Brit.

I respect Brit a lot, so am weighing his words carefully...

Very true. A friend is going to vote for Sekula-Gibbs Tuesday. He did not know that there was even a vote. I'm doing my part!

Agreed, nor where their hands have been or if they washed them when they were done.

I would find it really difficult to ever shake either Clinton's hands. Or, at minimum I'd have a bottle of Purell handy to get rid of the germs.

Between my sistercalling and having a discussion on Christmas toys with my grandson, I missed Rather (I hope).

Since Fox's base of viewers were people like us, one would think they would be a bit worried. However, since Ailes hired that jerk for president of the news division, I am thinking he is simply on autopilot and doing whatever Murdoch wants.

When they lose some of their advertisers perhaps they will get a clue.

I would too, but Brit weenie-ed out just like the rest of them on election night '04... even if they aren't libs they are surrounded by an entire self-contained world this time of year.

"Rahm E. sort of waffles on answer, citing a do-nothing Congress in need of change..."

I don't have the list handy, but it's surprising how much the Congress has gotten done with the constant bashing, roadblocks, and naysaying by the Dims and the DBM

"Anybody watching Dan Rather on FOX? He reminded us that Saddam is not dead yet."

Neither is rather... but I am hopeful!

Russert cites comments in Vanity Fair from Ken Adelman (sp?) and Richard Perle about Iraq and the errors of the Administration. Dole gives a fairly good response stating that Democrats "appear to be content with losing"...

Dole is not allowing anyone to interrupt her...

IMHO, it is generally applicable to Bush and Republican administrations only.

Clinton's cabinet, as I recall, spent more time in the 24/7/365 Political Campaign mode (Which, BTW, was probably Slick's only significant "contribution" to government)than they did in their supposed real jobs.

Don't have time right now to go through any but fiascoes like Ruby Ridge and the Albright Aid Plan for North Korean Nuke development to characterize their performance at that, but few of them were successful campaigners, either.

Good news this morning...Saddam is gonna swing from the Hangman's Noose.

Too bad the MSM doesn't share in the joy.

Even FNC this morning was trying to soften the image of this brutal dictator.

Watching Fox News Sunday. The consensus around the table is the Republicans are going down - big time! Chris Wallace makes the point that the Republicans in the last week have poured money into districts that Bush won big time in 2004. Congressman who were considered safe - they mentioned J.D. Hayworth (is he in trouble?) - and how he is in a tight race. They had McCaskell on from Missouri but Jim Talent was a no show. On the other hand, they now have Steele on and Cardin is a no show.
