BAGHDAD, Iraq - Iraq's prime minister on Saturday urged his countrymen to accept the impending verdict against Saddam Hussein without violence, then in the next breath declared the former dictator must get "what he deserves" with the decision that could send him to the gallows.
the "not proven" reminds me of Arlen Specter and his "Scottish Law" (Clinton impeachment)
WOW, Your up late? Or did you get up early?
I was getting a little worried it would be a non-guilty only trial after the 1st non-guilty verdict.
Hi Howlin!
I read earlier in the thread you were redoing your home and that's why you weren't here on this thread. Good to see you!
I don't have picture in picture so I drew a picture of Saddam and taped it to the corner of the TV screen.
How many more before we get to Saddam?
CNN is showing CNN International right now, they seem to be real time. I will tune in to FNC later for the analysis.
I am paying for not doing anything since my mother died; I'm up against a Monday 8 a.m. deadline and I am WAY, WAY behind.
Like five years behind.
He was involved in drafting the rules for the tribunal.
no, I'm used to it--- it was really a tongue in cheek comment (there's no better way to describe the essence of FR than pumpkin pie and trying dictators!)
Oh, no! I was grown and in my 40s before I found out that most people eat the white seeds.
We had always gotten the green pepitos from Mexico here, all fried and salty. I was really disappointed the first time I did home-baked pumpkin seeds, until I split one open and found the little pepitos inside.
But it takes FOREVER to shell them.
I hope FOX has something on that girl in the Bahamas. I was wondering what happened to her.
"Spectator" has been such a help in getting Santorum re-elected--especially after all that Rick did for him the last time round. He's such an ingrate RINO. I wouldn't be surprised if he switched parties if the Dems get control of the Senate just so he can stay in the majority.
VP gets LIFE
I like 'not proven' it's often much more accurate than 'not guilty'.
Vice President sentenced to life in prison.. didn't get hte name.
VP gets life!
I am on CNN too.
I can't believe it, but I am.
Nope ....
