Iraq urges calm ahead of Saddam verdict

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Iraq's prime minister on Saturday urged his countrymen to accept the impending verdict against Saddam Hussein without violence, then in the next breath declared the former dictator must get "what he deserves" with the decision that could send him to the gallows.

Pepitos are the green kernel. "Pumpkin seeds" are the white seeds that lots of people eat, which contain the outer shell. Guess you can tell, I've never made pepitos from scratch. I probably would have been extremely disappointed since I wouldn't have known the pumpkin seeds have to be shelled.

does anyone else find it odd that there are recipes being swapped on a Saddam Hussein verdict thread?
Perhaps you should avoid the hurricane live threads. I learned some great recipes watching Katrina blow up and blow ashore.

CNN has international head of bar association who's actually pretty good. FNC had the Vanderbilt guy on & he's pretty good too - both emphasizing these are good deliberations; 1st guy did, apparently, have a good defense, at least as far as trials go (ie he may be guilty but it couldn't be proven, only documents he claimed he couldn't or didn't read at the time)

I find it cruel in that it is making me hungry at 3:30am, other than that... just passing time waiting for something to happen.
great-- now I'm hungry too. I want either Saddam's head or a pie on my desk in the next 15 minutes!
