BAGHDAD, Iraq - Iraq's prime minister on Saturday urged his countrymen to accept the impending verdict against Saddam Hussein without violence, then in the next breath declared the former dictator must get "what he deserves" with the decision that could send him to the gallows.
Oh dear....now you all be careful and vigilant. I know you will be, but that's my inner mom coming out.
Truth or Consequences?
Here it comes...
The song anticipation is singing in my head
Hang the POS
Who did JohnFN support .. he went down there ..wasn't it Ortega and the Sandinistas?
Found it ...
Kerry's limousine liberation theology led him into one of the most embarrassing moments of his early Senate career -- his disastrous Neville Chamberlain-style diplomacy with Sandinista leader Daniel Ortega.
Shortly after becoming a Senator, Kerry took off for Nicaragua with Tom Harkin on a free-lancing fact-finding tour, the purpose of which was to stymie congressional support for the Contras by "finding" that the Sandinistas weren't such bad guys after all. After Kerry met with Ortega, he returned to Washington waving a promise from Ortega that the Communist leader would moderate his policies. "We believe this is a wonderful opening for a peaceful settlement without having to militarize the region," Kerry said.

He needs to go south and screw up what he says down there .. and he can stay there, too.
Sorry, I thought Luby's was *everywhere.* Lots and lots of people line up to get their dressing there, just because it's so good.
I bet you could find something online - I found a Cajun fried turkey for someone online once, right near his house in GA.
(((Chena))) I think I will have to give up waiting too unless it starts happening SOON.
FNC said it's already been delayed by an hour.
FNC is now there live
Hello fellow Freeper :)
We can stuff Saddam full of candy and use him as a piñata.
that's why I mentioned in prior post "Dear Kommandante" - at the time, when that letter was exposed it was the equivalent of treason IMO.
I feel the same way, jveritas. Good to see you here.
Now's his chance to make a break for the door!
Explosion in Baghdad?
That shoud be my Christmas Card
I'm getting the same thing you are. I have Sky News on - and AFN Radio which broadcasts right here in the IZ.
The only difference is that I can hear any noises (and feel the building shake) that might accompany this. LOL
BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) -- The Iraqi High Tribunal spokesman says Saddam Hussein, his seven co-defendants and lawyers are in the courthouse awaiting expected verdicts.
I'm not kidding.
Oddly enough, I'm actually glad to hear that.
Lol! Great idea.....I get first crack!
