A West Point Cadet sends this along with the photo below:

I'm a cadet at West Point, and tonight at our game against the Air Force Academy, a big sign emerged, and it was shown to the Corps of Cadets, who cheered wildly, and then shown to the Air Force cadets, who also cheered.

The troops should be thanking John Kerry for his remarks about the troops intelligence Many in uniform are having a tough time making ends meet with their low pay. Since a government official(John Kerry) has declared them as stupid then they should be able to collect a government check per the Disability Act!

As a member of the US Army and holder of a dual master's, it makes this uneducated idiot that is beneath Jon Kari proud of my roots/heritage/political affilitaion.

Go Army!

Congrats, AFA!

I know, just tweaking a bit, ex-USAF guy here. :-) I've always loved watching the service acadamies play each other. Talent level may not be on par with the other Div 1-A schools, but you can't beat the passion they play with. The ESPN guys calling the game mentioned that is was a rivalry of brothers, an excellent description. Looking forward to the Army-Navy game in December

...they still bring smiles to grunts when they need air support.

On that point we can both agree.

Yes, I understand he might have mentioned it a few times.

My post was not a hit on yours. I'm also former USAF (or Chair Force as my son tells me). Stationed at Minot in the 70's - Security Police - Baby sat the BUFFS.

I'm just sooo proud of all of our service men and women, whether playing on the field or battling our enemies in the sand. They have earned our undying gratitude and can never be repaid for what they do for us.

Cudos to the ESPN guys for giving that description of those cadets.

I'm not a football fan, but when we were eating in a
bar last night I'm pretty sure that game was on TV.

Did this get broadcast by any chance?
