A West Point Cadet sends this along with the photo below:
I'm a cadet at West Point, and tonight at our game against the Air Force Academy, a big sign emerged, and it was shown to the Corps of Cadets, who cheered wildly, and then shown to the Air Force cadets, who also cheered.

Seriously - I agree with the sentiments of SoldierDad - there is nothing like friendly rivalry amongst the Band of Brothers. 364 days of the year, the brothers are the best of friends, and can be totally relied on to cover one's back. (But on the one day of the year when they meet on the field of battle - FOOTBALL ... wow - what fun!!)
At the end of the games - nothing but respect for the rivals, who now resume the position of something more far closer than friend!

He will lie low for a while and then, when the heats off a little, he'll start going out of his way to make public statements that are wildly, almost absurdly complimentary of our troops at every opportunity. I don't think it will save his hopes to be a democrat player in the 2008 campaign, but he's going to give it the old college try. He loves himself way too much not to.
I can hardly wait to hear the hyperbolic (and transparent) praise that he's going to begin heaping on US soldiers every chance he gets. Does anyone doubt it?

I don't know why...buy my tears are flowing a LOT easier lately, when I just see their pictures...and watch them at the rallies that Pres. Bush, Cheney and Rummy have been speaking to.
