I wish we could get Shawn to just devote just a minute or so a night on H&C to get out some of the good stories and photos coming out of Iraq.

As a matter of fact I was thinking about it also, but instead to show it on H&C, the "War Stories" by Ollie North on FOX would be a better venue to promote our troops good deeds/progress/setbacks in Iraq and expose the real truth about the war, warts and all!

I tell him he has to be VERY VERY smart, brave, compassionate, and all of the other qualities that you and your fellow soldiers ARE every day.

M01 - I've sent this thread on to my dad (who was in Iraq for several months, in a non-military role, after the war). He and a Kurd (fled to the US when Saddam ruled) he served with both came back displeased with the media portrayal of the situation.

For what it's worth... Gary Sinise's wife is a childhood friend of my sister's. Gary is one of the few Hollywood types who "get it" about what's going on in Iraq/with the war on terror. I'm only too happy to help spread the word about his charitable efforts to try to help out over there.
