New York Times Mad Bush Administration 'Leaked' Iraqi Nuke Plan
Fox News Corp. ^ | 11-3-06 | John Gibson's My Word

Posted on 11/03/2006 4:11:25 PM PST by windchime

This is exquisitely rich.

Today The New York Times is accusing the Bush administration of an illegal leak of secret information, which may endanger American lives.

Wow. No sense of irony over there at The Times. They can leak the NSA secret wiretapping program, they can leak the Treasury Department's secret program of following terrorist money, they can leak secret memos on the progress of the war, but none of that, evidently, seems to Times editors to endanger Americans. But this latest so-called leak by the Bushies does.

And worse, the so-called leak is — get this — an Iraqi plan to make a nuke bomb.

With declining subscriptions and advetising dollars, the NYT thinks it is the one elected by American citizens to protect us from foreing and domestic enemies. God help us!

I hope I live long enough to savor the demise of the NYT.

Hey, dude! Don't let the libs make YOUR blood pressure rise! Do something to send THEIR blood pressure through the roof! Anything you can think of.

This is just like, "no bastard ever won a war by dying for his country."

"He won it, by making the other poor dumb bastard die of hypertension!"

Save your own health, to H%ll with the libs'. Hope this makes sense.

;^)

Relax and take a deep breath. It will all be over shortly once the true circulation numbers are posted either by themselves or by the Feds.

"From that site it has also been discovered that was planning terror attacks against the West with Al Qaeda, but that has never interested The New York Times before. "

Gibson's statement seems to refer to this document translated and posted by jveritas:

March 2001 Document: Saddam Regime Plans to Strike American Presence and Interests (Translation).  Pentagon/FMSO website for Iraq Pre-war documents http://70.168.46.200/ ^ | October 16 2006 | jveritas

When my husband says something similar about the libs raising his blood pressure, I kindly remind him that in spite of their dirty tactics and slanted ways, we (Republicans) keep winning ALL the races that matter. So it's clear they aren't making inroads with their crap!

He calms right down after its put in perspective :)

Thanks everybody.

My aunt recently chastised me for "letting" them get to me. You are all correct; I need to be optimistic.

Comment 1: Could someone ask Pinch Schulzberger at the Slimes how posting anything found in Iraq could make it easier for any nation to create a nuke? After all, isn't Pinch&Co. the author of the story line that says Saddam Hussein was not pursuing building nukes?

Comment 2: Why is it that the Slimes gets classified briefings leaked to them but no one has leaked Kerry's discharge documents? Could it be that the low level types in the archives are more trustworthy than the high level types in Tampa?

Gibson's the only cable news commentator who got the signficance of this story today. I emailed him to keep flogging it to bring it to other's attention.

I thought building a nuke was fairly common scientific knowledge. You just need plutonium or enriched uranium. Interesting if Saddam had lots of progress on building a nuke, was Bush's action wrong?

Exactly. This is a big, big story, with the New York Times caught red handed. It needs to get around as widely as possible before election day.

The joke is, it was the Times that sprang this now, thinking to nail Bush with another of their biannual last-minute attacks.

What a bunch of jokers. It would be funny if it weren't treasonous.

I'm surprised Drudge isn't even carrying this story on his front page. Did it go away so fast? No comments from outraged Dems etc. regarding the story. mmmmmmm.

"I thought building a nuke was fairly common scientific knowledge. You just need plutonium or enriched uranium."

Theoretically, it's common knowledge, but the practicality of designing of an effective nuclear warheads is not easy. Saddam had enough documents to get any nuclear weapons program pretty close to the goal line.

Gibson's the only cable news commentator who got the significance of this story today.

He's the only one I've heard that got it.   The NYT article was to be a topic on his radio show tonight, too.

John Gibson Radio

Oops!

NY Times inadvertently admits that Iraq was close to a Nuclear Bomb in 2002, in an article designed to sandbag President Bush on eve of the elections.

I noticed that our side of the media has played more this stupid New York Times article than the liberal media because the New York Times played right into our hands and into our strong turf.
