Kerry's "apology": "I'm sorry you're all so stupid you couldn't read my mind and figure out what I meant to say and instead listened to what I actually said."
What a loser.

I thought he "refused to apologize" and now he is giving a scripted, crappy apology that NO ONE should accept. How hard would it have been to leave out the Republican attack in there? Anyone with a brain can see through this. Just say "I'm sorry"

Here is the original version of Kerry's apology:
"I am sorry that members or our military are not smart enough to recognize what I meant by my joke. I was making fun of the president. I apologize that our soldiers to not possess the intellectual where with all to understand my superior joke telling prowess."

I sincerely regret that my words were misinterpreted...
Nice passive voice there, Johnny. And it sounds like he's calling folks who were offended stupid.
Can't you frigging apologize without insulting someone, again, first?!

Democrats love to beat up on Bush and say he can never "own up to his mistakes." Here's a great moment in hypocrisy as John Kerry can't admit to the mistake he made, instead blaming us for not "interpreting" his words correctly. Yes, we're too stupid and simple to grasp the complex meaning behind your vicious insults. I never again want to hear another DemoCrite claim Bush won't admit mistakes when Kerry can't bring his prideful self to admit he was wrong and to issue an unequivocal apology.

I sincerely regret that my words were misinterpreted...Once again he does not have the personal integrity to admit the mistake was all his own. Kerry, THE WORDS YOU SAID WERE THE WORDS YOU SAID. NOBODY MISINTERPRETED THEM. BE A MAN AND ADMIT YOU WERE THE ONLY ONE AT FAULT. No, he has to say "who you going to believe, me or your lying ears?"

A day late and a dollar short.
This would have been a good statement to give at his press conference yesterday.
As usual, Kerry was a little too late getting off the dime on this, as is his wont.
His inability to plan for and neutralize the SBV in 2004 demonstrates clearly demonstrates his lack of qualifaction of leading his nation in wartime.
This fiasco makes that clear to everybody. He is done as a viable candidate.
