Kerry on Imus

Posted on 11/01/2006 4:27:34 AM PST by wtc911

Kerry spinning like a top on Imus. He says it is Bush who owes America an apology.

Says he's getting off campaign trail to not be a distraction.

Totally re-writing what he said.

Says the WH distorted his words to distract America from the outrage of their failures...

Stepping down didn't help keep the Foley Scandal out of the news cycle for months. I'll bet for Kerry it will work fine though.

If it wasn't for Charles and Bernard he'd be laying in some ditch choking on his own puke.

Congress critters call it revising and extending their remarks. It is a perk they give to themselves as a professional courtesy. If(when)they say something dumb, slanderous or just plain lies, they get to correct it before it gets printed in the congressional record.

I have never seen the MSM circle the wagons to this extent. They sense the Congress is nearly in their hands, and they will stop at nothing to kill or distort this story.

Yep, I watched Charles Gibson for the very first time last night. His question to Stephenopolous was along the lines of. "Do you think that anyone really believes Kerry was insulting the troops?"

Gibson got two minutes of my time. It won't ever grow to three minutes.

The more I listen to Limbaugh the more impressed with his ability to see through the smoke and break it down.

Give it time, Peach. Give it time.

You can believe that all across the fruited plains the phones of Dems rang and cuss words raged.

I don't see any other option but for the Dems to get rid of Kerry completely. Kerry gave those mean remarks at the worst possible time. That time being when the mighty Middle Class voters are paying attention what with the elections being a week away.

This past week my niece, once a liberal Democrat but with a little help from her Aunt and her stint as a small business owner, sat down and watched the debate between Merryland's Ehrlich and that retard Mayor of Baltimore, O'Malley.

Yesterday my daughter stops by and asks me what else can we do to rid the world of Democraps. She even got her mother and father-in-law absentee ballots so they can vote.

Neither of these young people are political junkees like myself but hey, election's a week away and they are PAYING ATTENTION>

And this is when JFK makes his mean remarks. Every Dem candidate for now and through to 2008 is going to have to wrestle with what Kerry said. Don't kid yourself, the Dems are simply going to HAVE to do something. This black cloud will hover over all of them unless they do something major. I think there's a possibility they will ask Kerry to resign.

The political junkee side of me is intrigued by this turn of events.

Today I am going to call my Senators Biden and Carper and I will say, primly and properly, "I am a Delaware Blogger and I'd like a statement on how Senator (Biden/Carper) feels about John Kerry's remarks about the American military".

Yes I called them both yesterday and I told that poor schlub of a staffer off for six straight minutes. I'm not letting up and I suspect neither will the rest of America.

And how about Casey in PA STILL allowing Kerry at his campaign event? This is a sure winner for Santorum.

Although anyone want to place a bet that Kerry will NOT be there? My hunch is that Kerry is radioactive.

But we shall see.

Kerry will be painted as courageous for standing up to the Rove juggernaut.

I am more impressed with Rush's ability to see clearly every day. Nobody else comes close. Not bad for a college dropout.

You're sure?

Because deep in my political-junkee mind I didn't believe for a minute that any Dem candidate would risk such a thing. And shortly after I hit the "post" key with my prediction that this wouldn't happen, well it didn't.

My political instincts are finely honed I am proud to say.

You've encouraged me to make a few more calls today, Fishtalk and bravo to you for being a good activist.

That is something we as freepers need to do more of instead of just posting and complaining on FR.

I'm waiting for Glenn Beck's rant on the issue.

Beck was merciless to Kerry during 2004 campaign.

The hardest I've ever laughed at a radio show was when he had a Kerry impersonator on, making the soundtrack for their Kerry float, called Wafflehead.

And, of course, then they did Gloatfest, the day after the election and it was fantastic!

I'm hoping he'll bring out some of the old Kerry schticks they did back in 2004 during today's program.

There's a petition at petition online calling for him to resign. I don't know how to post a link, but it's on another Kerry thread.
