Ben Harris: You are a disgrace Senator. As a proud servicemember I am ashamed to have you in the US Senate. I believe your comments have shown us a nice little Freudian slip of where your beliefs really are.

Jason M.: Even if your comment was a botched George Bush joke, do you, Senator Kerry, really believe that his so called failed policy in Iraq is something to laugh at? I don't believe the policy is failing as bad as you want. And most Americans don't believe that making fun of a policy that has put our troops in harms way is fodder for yuks.
You're disgraceful. You're chief of staff needs to be fired for not stopping you from saying what you said yesterday and now today.
Disgraceful; you're an utter failure.

Suzanne Farr: My spouse & I are both veterans. You are a complete embarrassment to not only the uniform but the American people.

NoisyDemocrat: To Ben Harris:
If anyone wonders what John Kerry's beliefs really are, they should look at his record: how he's fought for benefits and respect for our troops, how he's spoken out again and again as this Administration has used and misused and abused our troops, how he's attended funerals for service members in Massachusetts (when is George Bush going to attend a funeral for even one of the soldiers he's sacrificed?), and how he has always, always, always been on the side of the troops. Look at his record and judge the truth for yourself, rather than listen to right-wing spin.

Todd Caron: Once more Sen. Kerry attacks and insults our service men and women. A joke? Please! We got a true sense of what the senator really thinks. No wonder this fool couldn't win the presidency. Only in Massachusetts could this patrician empty-suit gigolo win an election.

BUMP!
"All this is just more space filler for no-real-news days."
I strongly disagree. This will be news up till election day. Dems have a choice to either distance themselves from him bigtime, or go down with him. The American people, by a vast majority, don't like this garbage from pompous elitists like Kerry. He's a reminder of all that's awful from the dems. regarding the brave men and women in our military.

"We should start a petition to force him off the Armed Services Committee."
Perhaps...but I vote for a petition to force him out of the SENATE!!
I posted one also. Studies have shown that if you look at the military, we are some of the most highly educated people. We all have free college anywhere we wish to attend. Most of us take advantage of that.
Anybody ask about his DOD-180? Curious folks still want to know.
Living with the double-thinking, double-talking Democrats in charge is going to be an incredible feat in nausea control and mental acrobatics.
The crux of the matter is that is the way he really thinks. He's an arrogant elitest and it shows. He's totally insufferable.
I did. I wonder how long my post will last. He's a pig. I have never liked him but now I truly can say that I loathe and abhorr him.
Rove!
" Chris Matthews has come to the conclusion that the Republicans blew it... they're so stupid, they don't even know a bad joke when they see one!"
Matthews said that Kerry's first sentence was that Bush used to live in Texas and now he lives in a state of denial ( hardee har har ) and the next sentence was his attack on the troops.
Which is a lie. NBC Nightly News did the same thing tonight.
They carefully edited Kerry, so the rustics could not hear Kerry obviously change the subject back to education.
He said " OK, we're here to talk about education " and then he launched his attack on the troops.
And it was an attack.
The Democrats and the media continue to say this whole thing is " silly " and will not go past another news cycle.
When we all get done laughing ourselves silly at another JK moment.....
We will all be able to look into the dictionary and see John Kerry's name next to the phrase
Arrogant Fool
Food for thought....
"According to a comprehensive study of all enlistees for the years 1998-99 and 2003 that The Heritage Foundation just released, the typical recruit in the all-volunteer force is wealthier, more educated and more rural than the average 18- to 24-year-old citizen is. Indeed, for every two recruits coming from the poorest neighborhoods, there are three recruits coming from the richest neighborhoods.
If, for example, we consider the education of every recruit, 98% joined with high-school diplomas or better. By comparison, 75% of the general population meets that standard. Among all three-digit ZIP code areas in the USA in 2003 (one can study larger areas by isolating just the first three digits of ZIP codes), not one had a higher graduation rate among civilians than among its recruits."
Censure.
I caught that too. They live in their own little world!
I saw it and had to turn it off. Interesting, no one on that show would take what kerry said at face value...and it's not even the first time he's made remarks along those lines. He never accepts responsiblity for his own words and actions.
