As an American currently serving my nation in uniform, I respectfully urge my political leaders in Congress to fully support our mission in Iraq and halt any calls for retreat. I also respectfully urge my political leaders to actively oppose media efforts which embolden my enemy while demoralizing American support at home. The War in Iraq is a necessary effort to bring the Middle Eastern democracy required to protect America from further attack.

As an active duty officer headed for Iraq in January, I was infuriated when I saw VP Cheney questioned regarding www.appealforredress.org, an attempt to make it seem active duty soldiers oppose our mission in Iraq. I've created www.appealforcourage.org as an answer. If you're active duty please sign this and spread the word.

I hope I'm not abusing the purpose of this site, but I don't think the mainstream media is going to publicize this and I want to get the word out by any means possible.

Thank-you for your support. I've just created the site and folks have started to sign. Please notify all the active/reserve folks you know, unfortunately the mainstream press won't spread notice of a site that supports our mission so we are depending on word of mouth.

Me and my son was watching the Kerry BS today. My son the former Army Officer insisted that I turn the idiot off after less than 1 minute.

That boy knows a whole lot more (after 2 tours in Iraq) than I do about the situation over there, but he don't say much.

I think though, that he and I agree on a few things. I think also that we both agree with you as well on the Iraq thing.
