Spiking is when you celebrate after scoring. If you do that on the ten yard line, rather than in the end zone after scoring, then, that would be the same as turning the ball over to the other team....which is sort of the worst thing you can do in football.

Point being: they are celebrating too early and it might cost them big time!

He means that they are celebrating the touchdown before they get it. Spiking at the 10 yard line is the same as fumbling the ball and the other teams recovers it.
