Also, her face is badly distorted by posterization of the color map -- I doubt the original film looked that clownish.

I've seen the senior yearbook with her picture, and I think this one is from her junior year. The senior one, her hair is a little different, but about the same length.
She wasn't bad looking, just average okay-looking girl.

Not ugly but not cute. Just plain. I don't fault her for thinking she took a cute picture. Many people think that. That was when she was Republican...her college pictures however were ugly coincidentally when she became a democrat.

That would make her born in 1947 and 18 years old in 1965. That picture is typical of the class of '65, and by those standards she is cute.
That said, it's what's on the inside that counts.
