The BBC has become totally useless
as a source of reliable news.
It is sad for us
who once
long ago
trusted it
and relied upon it
especially while travelling.
That's true. The BBC has long been a bastion of leftist ideas.
Psst....why it this in Breaking News though?
This is the best unconscious bias blinkered view different shades of sceptical opinion uncomfortable questions and difficult trade-offs open-mindedness conspiracy-theorists enabling audiences as open a dialogue as possible off-the-cuff remarks free-ranging discussion 'liberal' myth as if a minor crime had just been perpetrated against the public, article ever.
When is someone finally going to shine the light on NPR?
As bad as the BBC is, NPR is right there with them. Turn it on sometime and listen to their "news". It's agenda is up every hour: Bush bashing, pro homosexualty, anti-Christianity, pro radical feminism, multicultural in the extreme. Hear it every hour, twenty four/seven.
You know why Air America can't make it? Not because there aren't enough liberal listeners, it's because liberals already have a tax financed radio network, NPR.
The BBC is totally biased. The only reason they ban this is because it would give a visual reminder to viewers that the BBC is on the side of the woman-stoning head-choppers.
This is no brainer of the BBC. They deserve no praise for such a no veil policy. Christopher Hutchins said BBC had separate male only Muzzzlumm prayer rooms in London
Yeah, it totally sucks to be at a hotel in a foreign country with a foreign language and have CNN and BBC as the only English-speaking channels on the boob tube. It takes me about 5 minutes to turn red flag them both; 4:50 to stare at the T.V., not believing what I am seeing and hearing, and another 10 seconds to find the remote and change the channel.
The government should not be in broadcasting just as it does not publish its own newspapers. This goes for pBS too.
Today, people throughout the world look at the BBC as a boring, unreliable Leftist propaganda machine.
This change was neither sought, desired, or expected by the people of the world, nor was it unprovoked by the BBC. The BBC worked hard to earn this scorn, and it is well deserved.
If you want to do something worthwhile, do some introspection and see if you can figure out why respect for the BBC--throughout the world--plummetted into ridicule.
