Stay at home Republicans make no mistake your unenthusiastic view of this years GOP candidates has the potential to cause a measure of distress for the remainder of your natural life. Why ?
1. A Democrat wave that takes over Congress will be heralded by the MSM and the Liberals as a mandate to:
a. Withdraw from Iraq (regardless of cost in human lives or the future outcome). Vietnamization of Iraq will be completed but unlike the result of Vietnam which was the Cold War against Communist aggression, the results of failed Iraq will embolden an unstoppable Radical Muslim uprising. Whereas the Cold War had mutually assured destruction as a preventative to attack the new Terror war will result in multiple attacks on America with countless civilian deaths.
b. Investigate the Bush administration, witch hunt the entire administration with the end goal of an impeachment. Why? Well for among other things the vindication of Bill Clinton and the sealing of his legacy as that of the last great president in the U.S. Instead of Bush being a post 911 hero the MSM and liberals will ensure the Bush is blamed for every failure. In the minds of the MSM and liberals it is already so and they feel if he had not embarked on such folly as Iraq well then we would not be in the mess we are in today. I figure he is blamed for every attack on America and for any pitfall in our war on terror, for oh say the next 8 or 9 years.
c. Cancel the 700 mile border fence and stir a liberal outcry for amnesty. Watch for some kind of agreement between our Congress and Mexico's government. This will also be a way for the Liberals to get their message to the Illegal immigrants that will be the new Democrat voting block ensuring continued victories at the polls.
d. Sponsor a new amendment to the constitution one that instills homosexual marriage with the same rights as that of heterosexual marriage. To be heralded as a 21st century civil rights triumph.
e. Implement laws for a national health care system. One that will implement a class warfare that only the super rich will be able to get medical care outside of the this new government system and as such the super rich will get better health care then those middle class and poor that go to the government clinics.
f. Tax increases across the board resulting in large corporation lay off of many workers. Firings and lay offs will be used in order to recoup these new taxes from their payroll base resulting in stifled company growth. The end result of course will be to plunge our economy into sever depression. Those lucky enough to keep jobs will be taxed senseless to pay for the new wave of welfare class that will develop out of this depressed society.
g. Implement laws for the Fairness doctrine which of course will require liberal media coverage including talk radio and TV for any opposition point of view.
2. Everyone make no mistake about it your failure to act will result in generations paying the price. GET OUT AND VOTE REPUBLICAN.
My wife and I both just voted the straight Republicrat ticket.
I requested a clothespin for my nose, which they had on hand.
If they don't prove they deserve it in the next two years,
we wont vote even if it's to vote against the Witch.

Turned out to be a great conversation thread and exposed a lot of the exact type of persons right here that are just so disappointed in the GOP that they will stay home. Sorry most likely they have fell for the Democrat hypnosis. Some want Bush and the GOP to do more then they did but action was what they did. My point for those that can't see the light is that as limited as they feel their conservative controlled government has been well if you listen to anybody they will tell you our government has been way too conservative and that is what led to the problems we face today... So to conservatives I say again if you lose the Congress you will not see it dominated by even a remotely conservative agenda for the rest of your natural lives. Have fun on election day.
Conservative turnout is lowered some are energized but no where near 04, If the dems are just as energized as 04 then we will lose... The country is not 50/50 if a wave of angry Democrats come through they will take Congress.

Of course in CA when they had a choice a few months back between an extreme liberal (taught "women's studies"), a squishy republican who wanted a fence on the border, and a rock solid conservative republican the final vote was roughly as follows:
Ultra left liberal: 45%
Conservative republican 5%
Squishy republican 49%
If only 5% more republicans went for the conservative republican the ultra liberal would now be in congress. How would that have been the best thing?
And yes, I am very conservative. I simply won't accept living under communism (democrat rule and out of control courts) as an appropriate punishment for RINOS.

If the democrats take over the house and/or the senate, to raise taxes they will have to have the Presidents signature on it. Are you saying we are going to have
another "no new taxes" conservative president who will sign off on new taxes?

There is not a G-d fearing Republican who is not going to turn out on election day to prevent a humiliating defeat to alQaeda at the hands of collaborating Democrats and the Media. A patriotic conscience would simply not permit that.
I'll take that one. They will only have to do nothing and the extension on his cuts will expire in 08. If nothing is done to make them permanent next year you will start to see the corporations laying off the workers to recoup their future tax lose... Democrat win will sink this economy make no doubt about it... New taxes will get the VETO pen unless of course the President compromises the taxes on something more important like say protecting us from Terror attacks.... Politics is give and take my friend. You will get a tax increase pure and simple.
You said they will raise taxes. If the extension will run out, then why didn't a GOP House A GOP Senate and a GOP President make them PERMANENT?

I personally think that many Ultra Conservatives have been hit with the do something about RINO's bug and will be sitting home... The reason for my post to remind them of some of the things they will get with a Democrat controlled congress. I might have been over the top with predicting another attack on America... hmmm but why should we have to fear that? Wasn't 911 a wake up enough...

We have Republicans in primarily Democrat areas of the country that fall for that crap and they have to keep their seats safe... Actually, she won the primary, so the people spoke. The RNC gives us candidates like Chris Shays. We'd have more of his kind if we depended on the committes to nominate people.

They must therefore be supporters of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Alcee Hastings, Chuck Schumer, John Dingell, Henry Waxman, etc. because that is to whom they will hand over America.

Ain't that the truth? Harris is the only true Conservative I've been able to vote for in years. And what happens to her? Jeb, the RNC, the President and all the rest toss true Conservative Katherine Harris beneath the bus. She never had a chance.
Still, because she's Conservative, I'll proudly cast my vote for her. Then I'll hold my nose and vote for Ileana Ros Lehtinen, even though she gets a D rating from the NRA.

Yes, the border fence. There won't be a fence. Our Republican "friends" in Washington sold us a bill of goods. Worse, they think we're too stupid to figure it out. They're mostly correct.
I'd take the border fence and put it in the category to /not/ vote for the Republicans. They're still lying and decieving us when it comes to this fence.
