MESSAGE FOR STAY AT HOME REPUBLICANS (VANITY)

Posted on 10/28/2006 12:53:49 PM PDT by tomnbeverly

Stay at home Republicans make no mistake your unenthusiastic view of this years GOP candidates has the potential to cause a measure of distress for the remainder of your natural life. Why ?

1. A Democrat wave that takes over Congress will be heralded by the MSM and the Liberals as a mandate to:

a. Withdraw from Iraq (regardless of cost in human lives or the future outcome). Vietnamization of Iraq will be completed but unlike the result of Vietnam which was the Cold War against Communist aggression, the results of failed Iraq will embolden an unstoppable Radical Muslim uprising. Whereas the Cold War had mutually assured destruction as a preventative to attack the new Terror war will result in multiple attacks on America with countless civilian deaths.

b. Investigate the Bush administration, witch hunt the entire administration with the end goal of an impeachment. Why? Well for among other things the vindication of Bill Clinton and the sealing of his legacy as that of the last great president in the U.S. Instead of Bush being a post 911 hero the MSM and liberals will ensure the Bush is blamed for every failure. In the minds of the MSM and liberals it is already so and they feel if he had not embarked on such folly as Iraq well then we would not be in the mess we are in today. I figure he is blamed for every attack on America and for any pitfall in our war on terror, for oh say the next 8 or 9 years.

c. Cancel the 700 mile border fence and stir a liberal outcry for amnesty. Watch for some kind of agreement between our Congress and Mexico's government. This will also be a way for the Liberals to get their message to the Illegal immigrants that will be the new Democrat voting block ensuring continued victories at the polls.

d. Sponsor a new amendment to the constitution one that instills homosexual marriage with the same rights as that of heterosexual marriage. To be heralded as a 21st century civil rights triumph.

e. Implement laws for a national health care system. One that will implement a class warfare that only the super rich will be able to get medical care outside of the this new government system and as such the super rich will get better health care then those middle class and poor that go to the government clinics.

f. Tax increases across the board resulting in large corporation lay off of many workers. Firings and lay offs will be used in order to recoup these new taxes from their payroll base resulting in stifled company growth. The end result of course will be to plunge our economy into sever depression. Those lucky enough to keep jobs will be taxed senseless to pay for the new wave of welfare class that will develop out of this depressed society.

g. Implement laws for the Fairness doctrine which of course will require liberal media coverage including talk radio and TV for any opposition point of view.

2. Everyone make no mistake about it your failure to act will result in generations paying the price. GET OUT AND VOTE REPUBLICAN.

LOL...I am certain you are more discrimininating than I am in the use of that graphic, although I confess...I use it directed at the subject of a post (Madeline Albright or Jimmy Carter, for example) and not at posters themselves.

Saying President Bush is a conservative must be something you've picked up at DU, as no-one here ever calls him a conservative President. The President is a republican but not a conservative and he never ran as one in both his runs for office. It's hard to believe but if he were a full fledge conservative I think he would have had an even harder time getting anything approved than what he has up till now.

Most of us worshiped RR but it's sad to see so many, because of their petty selfishness, now willing to toss aside everything he worked for i.e. ending the 'cold war' and bringing down the wall. Putin working quietly on the sidelines has been gradually building up and putting in place his band of rogues [aka KGB]ready for a takeover either by the RATS this election or when Hillary makes a run in 2008, and he has plenty of help in DC with his friends who include former presidents, senior senators and congressmen. If you haven't already done so, pull up Fedora's recent threads and start from there. Communism is knocking at our door and if we don't stay united and strong and beat them at their own game, by keeping the house and senate, they'll be demolishing the door with a battering ram.

Isn't it funny how the same people who are bagging on conservatives to hold their nose and vote for their pet RINOs are the same ones who go out of their way to sabotage conservative candidates? What gets me is that these jokers have the audacity to insist that we should oust RINOs in the primaries...the same primaries during which they repeatedly screech that conservatives are "unelectable." Personally, I think it's time the RINO-coddlers held their own damned noses and supported the Republican platform for a change. And if they don't like it, they're welcome to switch parties.

Well said. Blackbird.

You just show how intentionally FREAKING BLIND you make yourself or know the truth but are just a flat out liar, so you can throw your pathetic little tantrum. Judges Roberts and Alito are just two HUGE, POSITIVE things but people like you will continue to keep your heads in the dirt, spew your ridiculous, stupid rants such as the one above. GOOD RIDDANCE! Who needs perpetual whiners?!

You're not the sharpest knife in the drawer, are you? Blackbird.

The question is: if they retain the Houses, will they continue to take our concerns for granted? If so, in the election of '08, we'll lose it all.

I think the conservatives and republicans are going to give the Republicans ONE LAST CHANCE to do something this election. I would hate to be a Republican in office in 2008 if they don't do anything in the next two years. It could be ugly. Conservatives are way to smart to fall for the "other guy is worse" threat that has been said for the last two elections. Please Republicans.....Wake Up!!!!

long-term strategic goals.

Not to be mean pollyannaish, but what on Earth could possibly the long-term goals be with the Republicans? If I were in charge, it would be 60 conservative Senators for sure. The Republican National Committee has done quite a job ensuring that this will not happen. Are they waiting until 2008? I am just curious as to your take on this.

Add abortion to the pro list because at least the Republicans don't vacuum the brains out of babies like the murderers do.

I miss the days when just the spelling police stopped by. Now we have both grammar and spelling police around. More "government intervention" into our lives. Remember we must spell and use correct grammar because "it is for the good of the children". lol.

Fox News Sunday is doing a MSM push story on Republicans should loose.

It is being pushed by one liberal brunet sitting on the left side of the screen. She is a definit "leans left". She even does the DNC talking point of RNC said playboy MANSION rather than the fact the RNC ad said playboy party at the superbowl.

They think they can reboot this story.

"I do believe that Thomas Sowell said it best: "In general, Democrats are the only real reason to vote for Republicans. When it comes to national security and the war on terrorism, that is a big reason."

Love Sowell, but seems he too chooses to ignore that national security and the war on terrorism means securing our borders. And for all their talk on the WOT, something the Bush administration has clearly FAILED to do.

Militarize the border, unite the party.
It's not rocketscience, just contrary to the OBL agenda.

All that, yet despite 9/11 and all the talk on the WOT, they've failed to secure our border.

Every Democrat intentionally distorts the truth to the voting public..... It worked with Kerry during the 04 campaign they can say anything and it won't stick. The MSM doesn't care and wants them in power. All you have to do is remember "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" Well that is how they all respond.

I agree the Democrats are a failure and believe in open borders now are there RINO's... absolutely but what is more dangerous a mandated Democrat party or a mixed Conservative party with a few RINOS at least you can get some things accomplished vs. getting nothing accomplished.

Border, Border, Border... You and your group sound like a broken record.. The GOP sucks cause they didn't build the 2000 mile fence only got 700 foot approved wah wah wah... Do you know what the other side says hahahha we drove this wedge issue into their base and got them so pissed they miss the positives and focus only on the negatives... When we win they won't even get the 700 mile fence.

And if it hadn't been for conservatives making a stink, it would have been justice Harriet Miers instead of Alito. Think about that awhile.
