I wouldn't worry too much.
This whole thing is cooked up by the media and the libs to try to demoralize and drive down the turnout.
I do not personally know anyone who is changing their voting patterns on the basis of what CBS or any other media outlet is saying.
As the POW's used to say...Keep a steady strain!
I look at all angles and all sources believe me it is not looking good even if the polls are cooked.
Scaring me with the boogeman is the best the GOP can do? IOW, "We suck less than the democrats." Thanks, I'll pass.
Sorry, stud, but until or unless you can show me a POSITIVE reason for voting for a Rat-Lite, it ain't gonna happen. I would not vote for a real Rat, why do you want me to vote Rat-lite? None of the things on the Conservative agenda are under any SERIOUS consideration and FedGov is growing like Topsy... so exactly WHAT has changed under the Rat-Lite party? And why would any rational being want more of the same? (note: Scare tactics are NOT a valid argument, OK?)
In races here in Cali, I do plan to vote Tom McClintock for LtGov, not because he's (R) but because he's (C)onservative and has the record to show it. He's the only one, though.
Quit watching the liebral shills and hacks on TV and get down on your knees--for the only Vote that really counts.
When you can no longer credibly promise good things, it's time to threaten bad things.
I hope you are right. I am not a happy Republican but I WILL vote the straight R ticket.
There's just too much at stake.
If the Defeatocrats get into power they will move immediately to impreach the President. They will begin a process of undermining our forces in the Middle East and they will unleash a wave of political correctness we have never, yet, witnessed.
Because Rat-lites suck less. It's that simple.
The "stay at homers" would rather "punish" republicans who don't vote exactly the way they want and have a communist country run by democrats. You'll never change their minds. Communism seems to be the up and coming rage.
I agree. I can't believe there would be that many Republicans who are THAT stupid. Some might even say that's what they're going to do, but I doubt their conscience will let them do it.
If the Republicans lose either the House or Senate, it is because they've done a PATHETIC job of governing.
If they'd actually held to the principles of the original Contract with America, I'd care a little more. They haven't.
CNN wants you to stay home.
Your passion for your party is admirable.
But just keep a couple of things in mind.
1. the chance of the democrats takein over control of either the House or Senate is remote. The chance of the democrats taking over control of BOTH is astronomical.
2. Most of the "nightmare scenario" actions that are typically predicted can only happen with the approval of president bush.
So, don't stress out! The republicans will be safely in control of the House, The Senate, and the WH come November 8th.
I've already voted.
Stop nagging us like Andy Capp's wife, OK? We're going to vote Republican, we may hold our nose or curse under our breath but we're going to be at the polling booths nonetheless.
I'm just tired of the polls, the vanities screaming "VOTE VOTE VOTE" conservatives being called cut-and-run conservatives, etc. Newsflash: The GOP has to earn our vote. Although I'll be out there voting for the Republicans (and holding my nose and cursing under my breath, I might add) if other conservativs choose to stay home I really can't blame them.
I agree...
I am not completely happy with some of the stances taken by the current administration, but I am realistic enough (as are MOST conservative voters I know) to understand that I cannot be associated with some movement that toes the line on every issue that is important to me.
Life is unfair. There is no guarantee, ever of satisfaction. Most Conservatives get this. I will be the first to admit I DO vote nearly monolithically on the subject of national defense, but...as the military brat of a 30 year Navy vet, and former military myself, those issues simply resonate with me, as they do with most military personnel.
You make a few salient points.
However, the eye is drawn away from the message
by the numerous punctuation errors. This isn't high school text messaging, you know.

How old are you?
You see, the literate eye will be drawn to the errors and will tend to ignore the content.
I'm just saying.
