I hope you are right. I am not a happy Republican but I WILL vote the straight R ticket.
There's just too much at stake.
If the Defeatocrats get into power they will move immediately to impreach the President. They will begin a process of undermining our forces in the Middle East and they will unleash a wave of political correctness we have never, yet, witnessed.
I agree...
I am not completely happy with some of the stances taken by the current administration, but I am realistic enough (as are MOST conservative voters I know) to understand that I cannot be associated with some movement that toes the line on every issue that is important to me.
Life is unfair. There is no guarantee, ever of satisfaction. Most Conservatives get this. I will be the first to admit I DO vote nearly monolithically on the subject of national defense, but...as the military brat of a 30 year Navy vet, and former military myself, those issues simply resonate with me, as they do with most military personnel.
Voting straight R ticket is what caused us to lose the Senate last time. Does the name Jim Jeffords ring a bell?
I say get out there and vote for the individual, not the party. Vote for candidates who will UPHOLD conservative values (90% of the time that means Republican. There are exceptions)
