I've always known there was something wrong with Michael Savage's schtick. It's intolerable. He talks like an absolute madman. He is just about as intemperate as you can get and still be on the radio.
Now I know what was wrong. The whole thing is a put-on:
Supporting a candidate out of your own wallet may be the most accurate gauge of what a donor believes in his heart. So it should come as a shock to fans to learn where their hero distributes his own political gifts. Which are not ungenerous. Just ask Jerry Brown, the decidedly liberal candidate (pro-abortion, pro-gun control, etc.) for California attorney general.
As the San Francisco Chronicle reports, Savage is a top contributor to Brown's campaign against conservative state senator Chuck Poochigian. His gift of $5,600, the maximum allowable under state law, was merited, Savage told the Chronicle after being outed. Why? Because "You have to make choices in an imperfect world."
RIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGHHHTTTTT.

"Wow, I'm honored to be listed among FR greats like NYC Republican and Don-o. Checkers should get a little more respect though."
Thank you.
Scroll up, read the title, and read the author's name. Notice it is Hunter Baker, and I am Lormand.
"I don't care whether he supports Bush or criticizes Bush. I don't care whether he's sincere or whether his so-called "conservatism" (I'd call him a demagogic populist myself, but whatever) is an act. I don't like him because he's an idiot. And he's a lazy idiot. He doesn't do his own research, apparently, and won't even read research others have done. He pontificates again and again on subjects without even having the most basic facts to hand. Time and again callers get the better of him, and he's too dumb to even know it.
He's a two shot: He discredits conservatism first because his positions are extreme and/or loopy, and second because he's too dumb and poorly informed to convincingly defend his positions even when he happens to be right.
If he's also a complete phony that only makes him marginally worse IM(notso)HO."
yep
"Argument?
Scroll up and read the article again, assuming that you did."
You're assuming these clowns can read?
"You claim he advocated voting FOR a Democrat, I'm just saying that is not true. If he did then I would be the first to say Savage is a fraud."
5.6 k to Brown is advocacy.
Now, you must admit Savage is a fraud.
Actually, no. The leaders are as deceitful as they are divisive. Most of the herd are followers, who think they're bright but can't even recognize they're being scammed.
Thank you for supporting the troops.
"If Savage wanted to reward Moonbeam for the military academy, he could always send the money to the *school* - not Jerry's AG campaign."
YOU NAILED WEINER AND HIS buttboys with that one.
Bravo!
BOOOOOOOMMMMMM!
Hey Checkers,
Thanks. What separates us from the DUmmies is that we're at least honest with ourselves, and that we see what IS - even if it's not so pretty.
I don't see many ways around this. Savage has contributed the max legal amount to a well-established left-leaning Democrat who happened to have done one good thing.
Through the magic of grandfathering, I've heard that Brown doesn't fall under the term limits provision with respect to the governorship. I submit that his run for AG is setting up a run for Gov against McClintock next time around.
I CANNOT countenance that.
So Blue State Insurgent IS G D liar?
"You are posting stupid things that are insulting - that is not name calling it is stating a fact. Don't post stupid things if you don't want them to be called stupid."
Dittos on that, good buddy.
"Weiner seems to attract people who share his lack of pragmatism, and long term strategy to further the Conservative movement. Instant gratification is for people high on crack, not American politics. Change is very slow.
I conclude that you are one of the Weiner fans who want instant gratification on all issues that you deem Conservative. Dream on.
Expect plenty more Weiner critisms and attacks by me until he is gone."
Yep
"Lars Larson and Glenn Beck, just to name two, are perfectly capable of discussing "borders, language and culture" intelligently... unlike Savage."
yep
"How do you know he hasn't quietly done just that?"
He don't do nothing quiet.
"I started having doubts about him in 2002, when he endorsed the McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform bill."
ohmygod
Is that true?
*patting you on the head* Now, now little one. Just run along. This is for adults. Go on now...scoot!
doesn't surprise me at one time he was a dem (his right as an american of course) i listen to him and lately he is getting on my nerves so i turn him off because lately i cant figure out if he is left or right or in the middle. and he has a very dislike for the white house, he cuts rush down, hannity and his favorite o'rielly so this supporting of jerry brown doesn't surprise me. i guess he likes the fact that oakland has the highest murder rate, right now and he wants to support the man with this record to be incharge of our state i guess that means he might be voting for phil for gov to.
Why not just give the $5600 to the school?
Why put Jerry Brown in charge of law enforcement in a Border State?
So you're saying that all veterans must neccesarily be fans of one or another talk-radio icons?
I thought you said I was comparing Brown to Hillary. You can't seem to keep up with what you are saying.
