he doesn't have the RIGHT to question what was in his books...because HE didn't serve...LOL. What does that have to do with anything. No one has called any of his war portrayals wrong.

I saw it, I have no idea how Allen's service or lack there of is germane to a work of fiction. but then again, logic does not seem to matter anymore.

I just checked on DU...didn't see a headline or thread about Justice Stevens...but, I did see one about Hillary that was pretty funny.
It seems that Hill was asked WHO she would accept for Sec. of Def. if Rummy was fired...and she suggested James Baker or Colin Powell...blech
BUT, I say blech...the posters at DU are being much WORSE...they are really cussing her out...and asking "what is wrong with that woman"....LOL

Rove is a code word for "bogeyman". Like yelling, "Halliburton".

I'm just uncomfortable with taking a work of fiction and using it because the same thing could come back to harm us some day. I'm saying that given how filthy this campaign has been with the way they did Foley and Michael Fox and all this cr*p. But this should not be part of a campaign, lest we totally politicize fiction. Anyone who has read most spy novels will recognize some of what Webb has written.

I am pretty sure this is going to work just the way they want it to. Possibly...and given what they have done to us, it's justifiable. I'm just uncomfortable with the precedent.

I stated clearly at the beginning, I HAVE SWORN OFF FOOD. Now, you either cease and desist posting the yummy food, or I will have to launch an official complaint with the management...LOL...

I heard Martha McCallum talking to (I forgot his name)...the EX-RNC chairman, who is now George Allen's campaign manager...
He was on Martha's noon show, on the phone...and he was talking about the passages in the book.
Also, he read something that came from Webb's bio or campaign literature ..that said that Webb said that the thing he is most proud of is his writing...and feels that his WRITING will be one of the main influences on how he will be a Senator....
I hope someone else on this thread saw that show..and can hopefully add anything I forgot..(like his name!!)
