It's America's future, stupid
The past few years, Republicans in Congress and the White House have joined with Democrats in not only tolerating, but also hosting an orgy of federal spending burning through our tax dollars as if they were cheap cigars at a Washington, D.C., after-hours party.
Republicans have agreed with Democrats in allowing our nation's borders to remain unsecured even after the 9-11 terrorist attacks against our nation highlighted the urgency for America's security personnel to know who is coming into this nation with the intention of harming our citizens.
And finally, Republicans have allowed political pressures from Democrats and world opinion to at times neuter their pursuit of the war on terrorism. At a time when we need to be playing offense in the war on terror, it seems that the jihadists are winning the PR war not only on the world stage, but here at home as well.

Good for Melanie! If there really are any "I'm not voting Republican this time" Republicans, I hope they listen.
"Another beautiful conservative woman! Is she on the "Republican Women" poster? If not, she should be.
"we killed the Patriot Act"....
"Bush administration seemed to be abandoning fundamental arguments in the war on terrorism."
There was an article in 2004, "Why I won't be voting for George W. Bush" (he wasn't in our country) that laid out the ultimate argument for continuing the 'WOT'. Today as I watch 'Paris Burning', the 'Courts' forces amass on the border of Ethopia, and the genocide in Darfur, I find the war front in Iraq even more beneficial as the 'salt lick' for terrorists. We fight them there so we won't have to fight them EVERYWHERE!
God Bless America and God Bless George W. Bush!
