Miklaszewski has his panties all in a twist recently. Laura Ingraham is playing clips now of him fighting with Secy. Rumsfeld yesterday.

It says someting very disturbing about a person's mind and laues to be able to even dream up something like that, much less publish it.

It also says something very disturbing about Drudge for him to reprint that pornography on his front page, with no warning. I am as disgusted with him as I am with Webb.

This wouldn't have been a "shock" if the media had done its job and talked about Webb's very public writings throughout the campaign.

I don't know anything about writing books but I know something about human nature. In order to write you have to have an imagination and a person would have to have these images running through your mind.

So, are the people going to elect a person to this high office who has a sick and twisted mind?

My guess, Webb is going to try a 'ghost writer' defense.

Dems over on Underground and other dem Blogers are trying to spin it as cultural and site some sources....however the sources they site are about India (and kiss, not putting in the mouth).

I don't know where Webb's book is supposed to take place...but what is cultural acceptable in a tiny spot in India does not realte to the rest of the world.

If this book had been written by a Republican, Perky Katie would be frowning and wincing while reading passages on the Evening News and solemnly declaring that this man must not go to Washington "for the children."

Oprah would be interviewing psychologists about how this proves the Republican candidate is mentally unstable and unfit for office.

The NYT would be calling for an FBI investigation into the Republican candidate's background to ensure he has never actually engaged in such heinous acts.

The uproar would go on every day until the election and would make the Foley flap pale in comparison. I say turnabout's fair play.

A co worker of mine who was in the military told me about this woman he met who got off to oranges being thrown at her back. He actually did it to her. I thought this was a great idea to use in a novel sometime but I am not running for the senate.
