Every two years there has been a drive-by shooting of a Republican HQ somewhere in the US. You can bet that they'll do it again. On election night, good luck to all our volunteers. You should get hazard pay. What really scares me is what if in 2006 or 2008 there are really close elections and things get dragged out for months in the courts and finally the loonier elements decide it is time to get violent if they don't get their way. Once enough people have that mentality America will at best be just a large banana republic.

A couple years back I had the opportunity to send a url for a t-shirt to the Secret Service. I got to talk to the nice agents at two different offices.

I bet when Clinton was President, we had many more inquiries.I lurked here daily for nearly three years before I "signed up" officially because I was convinced that the Scumbag Administration was entirely capable of finding out who posters were and siccing the IRS on them the way they sicced the IRS on other conservative groups in those years.
You will notice that my official sign-up day is the day Gore finally conceded.
That's the day I finally felt safe from the Scumbag Administration.

Good job, Ingtar. If I thought for one minute that someone was threatening our President, I'd report it in a heartbeat. And that goes for ALL of our Presidents regardless of party affiliation. Anyone who would threaten the life of our President, serious or not (but how do you know until you check it out?), deserves a personal visit from the Secret Service.

I fear our differences as Americans are now irreconcilable. Looming is ever more social and political turmoil.
Add to that the threat from the radical elements of Islam allied with the useful idiots on the left, both abroad and in America, and I'm afraid we're in for seriously dangerous times ahead.
If our constitution and our desire to stay as one America is strong we may avoid the unthinkable.
But, I am pessimistic.

Wow.
I lurked for seven years before I signed up. But I never considered the government coming after me. I was scared of all you smart, witty, intimidating mean old Freepers! I had to know the ropes before I subjected myself to the pummeling.
Course now I am a mean old Freeper so maybe I should start...Oops, got to go...the doorbell's ringing. ;-)

They knew there was no way they could quash The SS request. Question is, will they admit they turned the information over when they do?
