I had to laugh at the comment I read on Drudge's headlines about some dem or media face sniping at W after he signed the bill for 700 miles of border fence. The griper was sarcastically saying there's only 1,300 miles left to go or something like that.
AS IF these libs were behind the border fence all along, pushing W and Congress to take action.

Glad the president is trying to control the border, but I just don't think a climbable fence is the answer. Like I saw someone post...we need to cut off the goodies that illegals get when they come over here.

And I loved Rumsfeld's reply to a reporter who quoted General Casey and twisted the general's reply to make it seem something it wasn't. With a smile and a twinkle in his eye, Rumsfeld said (not an exact quote), "That's just mischievous!" And, "We're all adults here. We know this is the political season."
He really let them have it. I didn't quote the really in-your-face stuff. The transcript would be an interesting read, but seeing it in action was a balm.
