Fox told Couric, "At this point now, if I didn't take medication I wouldn't be able to speak."
How do you know when Fox is lying ?
His lips are moving.

I was a freshman in college. I remember some of my dorm colleagues using it. This was in Michigan.

Any patient that presents with Parkinsons who is under 40 you are to ask about ecstacy useReminds me of Cassius Clay, who acquired his Parkinson symptoms as a result of too much rope-a-dope. Is Clay a true PD patient? I vote "No."

Yeah, but we have to presume that at least 'some' of the previous Airhead America fans might be tuning in to Katie now. That would probably make it around 50 or so. A rather intimidating loss to the GOP, no doubt...(ggg!).

It seems that, when it suits his purpose, Michael has deliberately chosen to be taped at times when his tremors are not as apparent.
Rush Limbaugh On the Offensive Against Ad With Michael J. Fox
Fox's scenes in "Boston Legal" had to be taped around his illness, as he worked to control the tremors associated with Parkinson's for limited periods of time.

It never ceases to amaze me how these libs, within hours, get a national forum to respond to criticism.

So what? What's your point? That if he got Parkinson's from using Ecstasy he doesn't deserve anything?

Don't know if he was acting or not but when you shoot a commercial you have all the takes in the world to get it right. Fox did look a wreck in the commercial, does he always look that way?

No, never....but what's your point? Liver disease from drinking, heart attacks from eating, lung cancer from smoking....are they worse than, let's say, hereditary liver disease or heart attacks or lung cancer?...do you see how petty you sound?

I recall that years ago I read an article about Michael J Fox having this disease, and the odd coincidence that 3 other of his young actor friends also having this. The article was about whether a virus is involved in Parkinson's. I could be wrong, but I don't see it mentioned here.

So the question obviously is.....if he was ON his meds during the ad (or as he stated, was overmedicated, instead of being off the meds), how come he was spazing out and moving around 'as if' he was OFF the meds? He was able to speak clearly. He was able to communicate succinctly. And yet, he supposedly was, from all appearances, anything 'but' under control.
Methinks Rush was exactly right/correct about this...(as usual).

"Disease is a non-partisan problem that requires a bi-partisan solution."
Yeah, MJF, that's why you've teamed up with a band of vicious Demagogues to attack any Republican who doesn't share your views on research ethics, etc., right? You're so bi-partisan that you shamelessly promote federal funding of a course of research that has no evident promise and no significant private funding, in contrast to the far more promising ADULT stem-cell research.... what a bi-partisan guy.
