Levin lit into him last night too. He was really brutal. Kean really shot himself in the foot on this one.
My tag line............

Kean will at least support some of the administration's initiatives. The Rat candidate will support zilch.
Unfortunately they both grew on the left side.

He'll caucus with the Republicans.
In the end, that is what counts for filibusters.
And in the end, it's filibusters that count for judges.
Because judges are the arbiters of all social policy in America, controlling the judiciary is paramount.
Everthing else is secondary, domestically, because through the judiciary, the bad that the left has done can be unwound.
Get the judges, and you have them for life.
So, Kean is saying what he has to say to get himself elected in a liberal state. He'll probably get elected...well, unless Rush's "endorsement" actually gets Republicans there so mad at Keane they don't turn out and vote for him. That's what Rush is up to here.
If they don't, and he goes down, an object lesson will have been taught. Do NOT mess with "The Doctor of Democracy".
If they do, and Kean is elected, he'll caucus with the GOP, which in the end is the most important thing.
Therefore, be of good cheer.
Smack, smack. The kisses of death.
This is the same phenomenon as Rush endorsing lefty journalists...... it kills their career.
In New Jersey this mock endorsement might actually help Kean. If The citizens in that very liberal state think Rush will be irked if Kean wins they will vote for him.
Hey, if Rush wants to give the Libs these types of endorsements I'm all for it. LOL
I've tried to find one damn thing that screams Kean is better then Chafee. I've got nothing. Even in his interview with Hannity, while quick to bring up the border and denounce the Senate...he was weaselly with his words about the House plan.
I don't trust him. I don't like him. And I have a very strong suspicion he won't even be a "Collins" or a "Snowe" but just like the guy we're trying to torpedo in R.I.
I don't like DeWine, and I've stated no remorse from my end about his fate either way. But I've given up urging people to vote him down. It's their call and he's done one or two worthwhile things in his life I suppose...but I REFUSE to bend on Chafee and ANYONE that smells like Chafee we're better off without. In this cycle I see only ONE Senator like him and that is Kean.
So, my position is the following.
The only two Dems I'd prefer win are Nelson in Nebraska and Liberman. The only two Reps applying for a seat in the Senate I'll urge voters to dump are Chafee and kean. The rest I'll either refrain from calling for them to fail (DeWine primarily) or enthsiastically support...like Santorum, Talent..so on.
You want true conservative independance look no further than Tom Coburn. Now there's a man with conviction.
I am being neither facetious nor sarcastic with this comment.
Keane knows that "gayness" sells in New Jersey.
You owe me a new keyboard!@#&*$#^&#@
I like your tag line. I'll miss him dearly also. BTW, he died the same week my dad did. I think my dad was a bit upset when he found out.
having said that, Tom Kean is an unimpressive pompous idiot. I can understand some effort to disassociate himself from the Administration in a liberal state. But Kean takes it to the point of offending republicans. He is inarticulate - and he is too stupid to keep the focus on Menendez and corruption. Hell, in a state upset by Corzine's tax increases, Kean isn't even talking taxes. He is an idiot.
I heard the whole Rush show today and he was absolutely ON FIRE!! It was great.
Rush said, "Kean has his feet planted firmly in the air." Rush also said, sarcastically, that Kean is "exactly what the Senate Republicans need - - another Lincoln Chafee." Kean has been running from the liberal press like a scared bunny rabbit, and Rush made it clear that the Senate will be better off without another surrender-monkey Republican in its chamber, no matter what the party.
I'll tell you what, I can only imagine how many New Jersey Republicans who were thinking about holding their noses and voting for Kean arrived at a different decision today after hearing Rush. Hats off to Rush Limbaugh!
I grow weary of the gaggle of RINO goofballs put across the table from virulently liberal dmonRATS on left-wing talk shows, supposedly, to provide "balance".
I grow weary of RINOs on so-called commissions, like kean's dad on the 911 Commission.
I grow weary of baby RINOs, like kean the younger, running for office.
F**K THEM ALL.
