I guess I don't see the problem with a man going to a Playboy party of some kind. What man here has not read Playboy magazine?

I'd rather he went there than to some bath house somewhere.

What about the fact that he lied about it, though?

I just read it for the liberal bullshit articles. Oh, what the heck--I just like to look at the pictures.

I don't see the problem either.

So why did Harold dissemble about it?

I actually like him, I think the ad is pretty bad actually-but most political ads are bad.

I guess I don't see the problem with a man going to a Playboy party of some kind.

It's the prevarications and evasions before this admission that matter. He lacks the courage of his convictions.

It conflicts a bit with his campaign commercials showing him in church, etc.

I normally start reading a Playboy from the center-page.

I think people are raising the issue because, in one of his commercials, he is in a church. Church being a place of values and morality. Him being at a Playboy party doesn't exactly invoke warm fuzzies about decency and morality.

I think that's why it's being brought up.

I'd rather those in Congress and state legislatures didn't commit adultery, gamble, fornicate, take campaign funds illegally, go to strip clubs, Playboy parties, sell our national security secrets, and the like. It shouldn't be too much to expect those who make the laws to live clean lives so their judgment isn't so impaired or depraved, rendering them subjects for bribery, or biasing them in favor of lobbies of those activities.

Corruption will always be among us but the lower the bar goes for behavior among those we elect, the more our society deteriorates.

The problem is that he tried to get us to clarify what the definition of the word is is by declaring that he did not go to a Playboy MANSION party. He also makes a big bruhaha about his piety, shooting ads from church pews.
