Less than two weeks from now, Republicans will begin their post-mortem soul searching. And as the corpses of their House and Senate majorities grow cold, so should Karl Roves 2006 campaign strategy.

Is it possible that some other FReepers are jealous of your new "FR Legend" status- ---------------- Yes...I detect some jealousy LOL but you can't catch lightning in a bottle twice.
It's pretty hard to post a obscure NRO thread and have it run for 2 weeks and even have Jim Rob bought in...for a ferocious donnybrook. I think this record will stand.
How far out in the country do you live? 75 miles r/t to post! What is it flatland...fields?
I like my view though ..when I walk out in the morn the sun is coming up over Lake Michigan...a few blocks to the south is the John Hancock building at nite the top floor is lit brite orange for halloween....pretty cool

You Got that Right. LOL

This record will stand for a long time. You can be sure of it.

I'm some 35 miles from what would be called a "large city" and about 20 some miles from what would be called a "real town".
Interestingly we have Great Internet access out here. I'm on a 512 DSL here. (I also own stock in the company. That's a help too. lol)
Flatland is just what it says. No hills. We don't really have "fields" here Per Se. We have pastures.
This is Ranch Country. (And oil country)
I was born and raised on a ranch. I love it.
I've lived in large cities from time to time in my life. Places like Houston and Dallas. I guess it's what you're use to. What you've grown up with. I'll take the country life over the city life. But that's just me.

Woo-Hoo! You're here. I was just about to log out for the night.
Our daughter in the Cayman's will be here for two weeks this month and we hope to get her to commit to a moving date so we can solidify our plans to visit your area and "that Grand Hotel" in late August! Thanks again for the addresses and links. We've received wonderful brochures in the mail. Of course, I made use of the online links, whereas he likes to hold mail in his hands...lol.

Wow, I hadn't seen that before. Burning in hell is too good for some "people" (and I use the term loosely)
Does anyone remember the photo that showed up shortly after 9/11 that showed some beams from the building that landed in a pile of rubble in the shape of the cross? I saw it a few times and would like a copy of it.
