Conservative talk show host accuses actor of faking Parkinson's disease
Updated: 42 minutes ago
Possibly worse than making fun of someone's disability is saying that it's imaginary. That is not to mock someone's body, but to challenge a person's guts, integrity, sanity.
To Rush Limbaugh on Monday, Michael J. Fox looked like a faker. The actor, who suffers from Parkinson's disease, has done a series of political ads supporting candidates who favor stem cell research, including Maryland Democrat Ben Cardin, who is running against Republican Michael Steele for the Senate seat being vacated by Paul Sarbanes.
"He is exaggerating the effects of the disease," Limbaugh told listeners. "He's moving all around and shaking and it's purely an act. . . . This is really shameless of Michael J. Fox. Either he didn't take his medication or he's acting."

I actually listen to Rush's show, and he did NOT mock Mr. Fox's disability. He expressed dismay that people would exploit Mr. Fox and his infirmities for political gain.
Rush can be abrupt, but he is not mean.
I didn't ask for your help, but thanks for offering.
Now we will have dueling cripple commercial fights.
They have fox for his anti-talent spin, and we will have 20 parkensons suffers (who did take their medication) who will say the truth. Stem cell research IS legal, private embryonic funds are being used.
This can be turned around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A Lib, name of Michael J. Fox,
Goes on tour for the Democrat blocs.
Like a one-man Spin-City
Or a young Walter Mitty
He lies from his on-air soap box.
You should see the way IMDB wrote it up! OY.

This is exactly what the issue is about. Another way the abortionists and their MSM and Democrat allies can profit from the abortion industry.
Yeah, but if you go to AOL you will see the same misleading headline. I tried for a half an hour to find an email address so I could inform them their headline was erroneous, but was unsuccessful. The MSM has to be called on this stuff each and every time they try to pull the wool over the public's eyes.
I listened to Rush's entire show yesterday. He mocked no one. What are you? An MSM plant or a Dem troll? SInce when does a disability give someone the right to mislead the public with impunity. Since when does answering the misleading statements of such persons constitute mockery?
I agree with everything you said except that Fox was an unwilling pawn. Obviously, he knew the ad was misleading when he made it. Thus, he is fair game to be criticized for any lying and misleading statement.
But that never gets reported because all liberal Democrats and hollywood stars worship at the alter of abortion, and I've said for years, that abortion on demand is the REAL issue that is the shadow influence which drives the pro-embryonic stem cell research movement. Liberals push it because it devalues the embryo as having no human value, so liberals like Michael Fox will lie however they have to lie to protect that agenda. Even if it means lying blatantly to people with disease to try and get their hope to translate into votes for Democrats. This is what makes Michael J. Fox a lying heartless coward b*****d, pure and simple.
" He knows for a fact (you can quote me), that ESC research is a no go;"
Stanford University School of Medicine Magazine interview with Fox in 2004 :
Fox: And of course, while we think cell replacement therapy is further away on the horizon than once thought, it still holds tremendous potential for a cure.
Could be pinworms.
Remember when some homo aids victim/activist claimed that Reagan caused him to have the disease? This is the same kind of strategy and the MSM, i.e., the dinosaur media, laps it up like the Democrat shills that they are.
What you are saying is ABSOLUTELY brutal--but ABSOLUTELY TRUE.
Yep, plus an anti depressant and stool softener. Unfortunately, when he goes back to the neurologist in January I believe they will either have to increase it, he takes 100 now, or change it. His balance is deteriorating. He will have to go live with his children when he can no longer get around. My mother is an invalid, confined to a wheel chair, she lost her leg last year. Had a toe injury that the doctor never looked at, she is diabetic. I can possibly care for one invalid, I am 67, but caring for two would be too much.
I tried to email one bunch of "@$$holes"--AOL--but could find no email address. Yes, they must be called each and every time they pack their news reporting with lies, distortions, and enemy propaganda.
Your comments are brutal, but true.
To accuse a sick person of faking it without a scintilla of evidence is pretty slimy, regardless of that person's political views or political activity. Until Rush, you or anyone else has something more than a "feeling" that MJF went off his meds on purpose to exaggerate his symptoms, everyone should STFU about it.
