No matter where you stand on stem cell - embyonic or not-- the whole thing is about the MONEY -- the state or the federal govt should NOT fund it!!
The bottom line is GOVERNMENT control and Corp welfare!!

The truth is that embryonic stem cells have been used in the successful manufacture of vaccines and other biologics for decades. The cells that I am familiar with are traced backed with documentation to embryos that were obtained AFTER spontaneous abortions (miscarriage), NOT induced abortions.
The likes of John Kerry and Hilary Clinton would like nothing better than to believe that the treatments and cures for our diseases our loved ones' were in their hands.

Ticked here too. Adult and cord blood research is going just fine. When I worked in OB we took cord blood from every delivery for labs. It doesn't harm anyone and there is no risk involved.
I lost my Mom to Alzheimer's so I'm supportive of most any research for a cure, but I can't support embryonic stem cell research.
