Not plausible whatsoever. The term "likely" voter in this case consists of merely asking, "Do you plan to vote?" Doesn't work. Most people of course say yes.
For this to be a legit poll, you'd have to ask several follow-up questions: "Did you vote in 2000? For whom? Did you vote in 2002? For whom?" Most pollsters have some method, but at the Ohio Rep. Party, we don't identify a person as a "likely" voter unless he has voted in four consecutive elections. That has worked VERY well for us, as you could see in 2004.

Without Virginia and Tennessee, the Democrats cannot win control of the Senate. I'd say that poll is pretty good for Republicans.
And when you factor in that most polls oversample Democrats, I'd say it paints a pretty morbid picture for the Democrats' hopes in two weeks.

Chaffee, DeWine and Kean are three RINOs.
Don't know about the others.

Don't forget 2004, the Rat polls were saying the same things that Rats were going to win big. Did they?

Interesting and a cause for concern.
Keep in mind polls also had Dewey defeating Truman in the 1948 Presidential Election and exit polls had Gore defeating Bush in Florida in 2000. Take these polls with a grain of salt.

True if this poll is accurate. We shall see next week. When all the large polls like Battleground, RCP, Zogby, Rassm. end up with their averages, we will see that but then pray for huge turnouts by Pubs.
