Taleban militants 'plan to attack Britain'

Britain and the rest of Europe are a target for Taleban militants who have been inspired by rebel fighters in Iraq and are now planning attacks abroad for the first time, a Taleban commander has said.

Mullah Mohammed Amin said that "ordinary people" would be killed in revenge for the US-led invasion of Afghanistan in 2001.

Speaking to Sky News, the reclusive fighter vowed to avenge the death of every Taleban militant with the lives of hundreds of Westerners in a fight that, he said, they will never give up.

He said: "It's acceptable to kill ordinary people in Europe because these are the people who have voted in the government [George Bush and Tony Blair].

"They came to our home and attacked our women and children.

"The ordinary people of these countries are behind this - so we will not spare them. We will kill them and laugh over them like they are killing us and laughing at us."

Mullah Amin worked in the Defence Ministry in the Taleban government before the invasion. He claims to have been a fighter for 15 years and was in the mujahadeen. Today, he is wanted by both the Pakistani authorities and Nato for his part in the insurgency.

During the interview in a house in Pakistan close to the border with Afghanistan with the journalist Alex Crawford and cameraman Phil Hooper he keeps his face covered throughout.

He told the journalist that he is in charge of 85 fighters and plans and carries out attacks on British troops based in the south of the country.

He said: "Nato says they have about five million dollars worth of arms but we [the Taleban] have much more than that.

"We have all sorts of weapons. We have Kalashnikovs, AK-47s, we have rocket propelled grenades, we have missiles which can reach 7,000 metres. We have got many from China and from Russia and many from the mujahadeen.

He said that a missile that can hit a jet flying at 16,000 metres has been developed by the Taleban and is now 75 per cent complete.

He said that Taleban fighters were learning from the Iraq insurgency in their use of remote-controlled bombs, landmines and suicide bombers. He said: "They are our best tactic."

And old adage know to every Hindu:
"Muslims will pretend to be humble so long as you not only project strength but is also brutishly ready and waiting to use it, they will slit your throat the very moment they perceive weakness."

The Talibans getting ready for an attack on Britain is an indication of how strong/firm/determined the (Islamic perception of) British society and its political leadership is.

The only time India is/was hit badly is/was when Indian political leadership forgot her own country's bloody history, went soft on the very evil it still believes is yet manageable. Its not. Britain probably realizes it today ,or maybe not. Most definitely not according to me. According to me Britain still believes Islam is not only manageable but also manipulatable (and manipulatable for their own geopolitical ends). Your country skillfully used it against India without realizing the price Britain would have to pay someday. I think that time has come and its already too late to change the course that Britain has been following for so long. When its too late your only option is to get ready for a blood bath. India has come down that very road (and still going). I am neither happy nor sad for Britain. I believe its what we call as "Karma". According to Hindus, when the world allows evil to co-exist (and proliferate) either out of benevolence or as a means to gain political/strategic mileage, they becomes bigger sinners then the Evil itself. The world then must brace up for annihilation. Thats the price to pay. In our belief, no Jesus would come to take away our sins and "Save" the good ones. Even Krishna couldn't prevent the bloody Mahabharat-war. The Mahabharat-war wasn't just Good verses Evil. Very often it was good versus good (for some it was simply too late to switch sides, had no choice or were simply caught unawares in the crossfire). It was a complex war that resulted in random annihilation (not necessarily of only the evil).

And personally my family is no stranger to bloodbath..........(my family was among the lucky few that survived the genocide and managed to come over to India as refugees from Pakistan).

"Time to clear out Wahziristan."

I can't think of a better place to test out the neutron bomb.

Mark Steyn's Middle East Information Center (Excerpted, but you STILL have to read the whole thing).

The other day, Sheikh Omar Bakri Muhammad told Lisbon's Publica magazine that a group of London Islamists are "ready to launch a big operation" on British soil.

"We don't make a distinction between civilians and non-civilians, innocents and non-innocents," he said, clarifying the ground rules. "Only between Muslims and unbelievers. And the life of an unbeliever has no value."

The cleric added he expected to see the banner of Islam flying in Downing Street. "I believe one day that is going to happen. Because this is my country, I like living here," he said. "If they believe in democracy, who are they afraid of? Let Omar Bakri benefit from democracy!"

This is becoming a common line. The other day, who should show up at the airport in Toronto but the son and widow of Ahmed Said Khadr, known as "al-Kanadi" because he was the highest-ranking Canuck in al-Qa'eda.

One of Pop Khadr's sons was captured in Afghanistan after killing a US Special Forces medic. Another has just been released from Guantanamo. Another blew himself up while killing a Canadian soldier in Kabul. Pop Khadr died in an al-Qa'eda shoot-out with Pakistani forces a few weeks back, in the course of which his youngest son was paralysed.

So Mrs Khadr and her boy have now returned to Canada so he can enjoy the benefits of Ontario healthcare. "I’m Canadian, and I'm not begging for my rights," she declared. "I'm demanding my rights."

Pretty odd, no?

Note to Taleban: you're only angering people like me and increasing my desire to see the lot of you swinging from trees with your guts torn out.

Why be so gentle with them?

They are going after the Brits because they are not alowed to defend themselves. Try that in America and the result will be totally different!
