They did have a lovely civilization before they converted to Islam in the 7th century. But then, pre-Islamic Iranians also got along well with Jews. That's probably why today's government is planning a dam that will flood the valley containing Pasargadae, the home town and tomb of Cyrus the Great.

What's the difference? When they give hezbollah a nuke, think the return address is going to be limited to Lebanon?

Iran, has been watching the 'nuclear weapons' situation with their cohorts in the Axis of Evil, North Korea, and thus far the NK's have gotten away with openly detonating or attempting to test a nuke, therefore the madmen of Tehran must be pondering when they will test their nuke.

When they do, Israel, even with Olmert unsteady at the helm, will be forced into to action for the sake of Israel's national security, plus pressure from Likud (who should be running Israel) to protect Israel's population for Iranian nuclear extermination.

The question remains on Washington course of action and that of allies regarding the coming showdown with jihad exporting Iran?
