More video has aired, allegedly showing Iraqi snipers targeting American troops.
The video shows at least three soldiers falling to the ground after apparently being shot by snipers in separate attacks. It's unclear when or where the attacks took place. The footage was stamped with the emblem of the Islamic Army in Iraq, a major Sunni Arab insurgent group.
CNN aired sniper video last week. The network has defended that as part of an effort to show what it calls the "unvarnished truth" about the war.
California Congressman Brian Bilbray has criticized CNN for airing what he terms "a terrorist snuff film."

"CNN is aiding and abetting the enemy by promoting the slaughter of our troops. I would indict anyone who had anything to do with airing this! This is treason! "
This you skip over as if it was inconsequential. I just called CNN guilty of TREASON! So why no peep out of the AG... Why no outcry fome the RNC????....too busy whoring Dog Chapman to the drug cartel in Mexico, I guess.
Just because you have a personal vendetta against the RNC .. that is no reason to bombard me with your stuff.
goodbye!
I have supported the president on the war and also Rumsfeld. But do you realize this could be Rumfeld's downfall?... If he does NOT do anything to castigate CNN for being traitors (propaganda conduits for the enemy), his support might begin to wane with the war supporters. I like Rummy and I think of him as no nonsense person, especially with media idiots... so I hope he will do something with CNN.
But .. let's be realistic - there is an election in 20 days and I don't think Rummy would want to rock the boat right now.
For me .. I'd be a very happy R voter if Rummy acted - but I can see where it might not be good timing - and would only give CNN the license to say we are CENSORING THEM - so after the election we may see something.
You maybe right. :)
