I agree but I still have this feeling that Blair will join forces with Clinton on something when he leaves office.

This is only way that Blair will think that he can remove centre stage on the world stage.

He does not realise what I have come to realise that he has a great following in the States and probably does not actually need the backing of someone like Clinton to get the plumb opportunities in America that he wants.

You are right about Blair...

I think he would be MORE successful if he distanced from Clinton..because I know a lot of conservative admire him, and enjoy his speeches..

But, the don't admire anything about Bubba or listen to his speeches.

It would be a pity for Blair to cut himself off from half of America by tying himself to Clinton.
