Spencer should have brought up some of the serious ethics issues Hillary is ducking; it would have made for great television that the MSM couldn't ignore.

Yep. The party that had their webpage "We Support the Military", with a Canadian soldier on it. Just sad.

NOT good...

Not only the religious universities are preaching that thinking though.

If I had a college age child right now...I don't think I could part with my hard earned money to pay to any of the schools....just to have them brainwash my child.

Did you see the idiot Cafferty on CNN Friday night (can you believe they gave him his own hour show?)... he actually had the gall to say that he had it on good faith that the GOP had hired friendly programmers to make the electronic machines (the one's without paper trails) come out in their favor.

Josh, that is one of my favorites, too. The dialog between Mattie and the Col is perfect; just the way you'd expect civilized people from the 19th Century, even in the Old West, to speak.

I love the scene when Lawyer Dagget pays off Rooster in the end, too.

I watched, and I could only think of the heavily weighted polls that are so off and inaccurate. I'm not yet willing to accept these dire predictions.

Me, too....I have said that I think the GOP will stay the majority...but I cringe when I see "reports" that the GOP may be gaining strength again.

We need the voters on our side, MAD and AFRAID!!! LOL

I doubt they will come weaseling around our parish with that sheet. We are in a really conservative disctrict. They will save it for the churches dwontown and on the limousine liberal north areas.

However, if I DO see someone handing one out, I will be pretty outspoken.

Please God...never ever let that scenario happen here...the attack or our media USING it, like they do.

My area is on the other side of Wolf Creek Pass, and I haven't been back for years, but I doubt the area is growing. There is no industry, very little to attract tourists, mostly farming and ranching. Manassa, the home place of the Salazars (which I notice they disavow, claiming "Los Rincones" a nearby hamlet I can't find on a map) is a little mormon enclave of about 1000 or less, and the largest town is Alamosa, population of 8000, median income 25,000, elevation 7600. Old joke is that there are 9 months of winter and 3 months of poor skiing.

In a 2004 endorsement for Salazar by the local paper, he is described as a "right-leaning moderate who looks and works beyone party lines". /s sure, I believe that! Would love to see him go down.

The answer was supplied by Phsstpok, as well as the question.

Here is one I know: What was the name of Tonto's horse?

You are braver than me...

I just couldn't go see it...

I might be able to watch it at home..I have watched the one on National Geographic (I think)...but I tend to cry easily...but I am don't like to have people see me cry.

I do understand what you were saying..and I am glad I didn't offend, I really didn't mean to.

Kay has said a lot of stupid things. I had rather have her in the Senate than as a governor.

Louie Gohmert is my congressman. The VP even came down two years ago to a fund raiser for him. My grandsons and I were standing on the road - down from some protestors - as they drove into the Maude Cobb Convention Center.

Thank you very much. That will definitely be part of the preview next weekend, one way or the other.

What I'd actually prefer, however, is if I could persuade you to repost this there next week. My format for links like this is rather dry in that it only gives the headline and link. Would you be willing to repost this message? It is a lot more valuable than what I usually do. If you don't want to do I have your permission to copy and paste your post?

I also just noticed that you aren't in the ping list for that thread. I would have sworn you were there. Is it OK if I add you? I always appreciate your posts and would appreciate your help (with this as a perfect example) for what it is I'm trying to do there. For me it's not about my take on what's going on, though I am having fun doing the essay since I started that. My intent really is to generate background info like this for everyone as prep for the Sunday shows. Posts like this are exactly what I was hoping to get as part of that thread.

thankyou.
