I also just noticed that you aren't in the ping list for that thread. I would have sworn you were there. Is it OK if I add you? I always appreciate your posts and would appreciate your help (with this as a perfect example) for what it is I'm trying to do there. For me it's not about my take on what's going on, though I am having fun doing the essay since I started that. My intent really is to generate background info like this for everyone as prep for the Sunday shows. Posts like this are exactly what I was hoping to get as part of that thread.

If any Dem running for the same office had that background in his resume, it would have been a highlight of the article. In the Sun print edition, it was the very last paragraph at the bottom of a full page of type. I do not believe that kind of placement of paragraphs is accidental!
