The figures are stark. An average of 112 cars a day have been torched across France so far this year and there have been 15 attacks a day on police and emergency services. Nearly 3,000 police officers have been injured in clashes this year. Officers have been badly injured in four ambushes in the Paris outskirts since September. Some police talk of open war with youths who are bent on more than vandalism.

They probably don't have any.
I wonder what the designer thought, after he sobered up.
If someone torched my car as a political statement, I'd track them down and administer justice just on the principle of the thing.
Who says he's sobered up?
France only got its fist non-European extraction news anchor on a big network recently, although an estimated ten percent of the population is Muslim, so the amount who are simply of non-European extraction is probably higher. In contrast, almost all of the big American networks have such an anchor, even if that person is a second-string one.
Also, the topic is France, not the United States. There are a lot of European-descended racists here. There are also racists of Asian, African, and Latino descent, too. What's your point besides lashing out at what you perceive as undeserved criticism toward a group with which you identify?
And exactly how many neighborhoods and Jew-stores have been burned and ransacked, and for the latter, wouldn't the Klan do the same? The United States has had some violence based upon Islam (notably 9/11). However, the French riots are based on racism, not Islam. Not everything which has a Muslim as a perpetrator links directly to Islam. Sometimes most of the blame is on the other side.
They're just "enriching" euro-culture.
P.S. What exactly is a Jew-store, as you put it? A store which sells kosher foodstuffs?
Methinks you haven't seen our newscasts of what they call non-Black North African Islamofascists in France...

"Man, I need another drink."
Messing with a guy's wheels is personal. Catch a pinko messing with mine and the beating is ON.
I don't buy the argument that this is all about racism. That's an element, but these people are concentrated in the suburbs in large apartment towers. With 40 per cent unemployment (or worse) among them, they are concentrated by economic means or "class" as much as by any other criteria. Blame also has to be placed on a social system that doesn't allow employees to be fired for incompetence, even in the first year. Chirac even tried to push through tort reform to remedy this situation, unsuccessfully. Employers have to be careful about who they hire in France, considering it's harder to fire worthless employees that it is here in the states to fire underperforming civil service employees.
Saying everything is traced to "racism" is the underlying justification for state-sponsored affirmative action, "level-the-playing-field" laws enforcing discrimination, and reverse discrimination. All in the name of "diversity" and equality, of course.
If racism were the biggest underlying factor at work here, why is it the parents of these hoodlums integrated into French society much easier than their offspring?
As for the French Problem, if the poor, put upon Arab/Muslim/Minority/(insert favorite discriminated against entity here) have it so bad in France, there are modes of transportation out of France. Just as there were modes for them to arrive there. Why anyone would want to live in France with the French infesting France, I'll never understand. But, that's a seperate issue.
Now, if your argument is that the riots previous, and recent incidents, in France were justified by some perceived racist policies practiced by the French, that's fine. You're entitled to be wrong. The poor yutes haven't changed the French system by participating in its political arena. They seem not to have assimilated. They just seem to use the outraged Arab/Muslim/Minority/(Insert etc.) tactics of slash, burn, destroy, my gods bigger than your god, on and on.......
As for Jews being the victims of Muslim anger.....well, the road to paradise is littered with innumerable Jews whom Muslims have used to make their way to those virgins. (Yes, NAZI's, KKKer's and assorted other lunatics have also killed Jews)
115 cars a day * 365 days = 41,975 cars, in a nation no bigger than California, and the activity represents one continuous "upprising" in one general area of France.
Gee, wonderful Catie and her new crew at CBS have not yet informed their viewers of how fabuluous their friends in France are doing lately. I just can't imagine why. /sarc
Oh, you know.....one of those stores owned by a Jew who ripped off minorities and held down minorities through the eons......just like that paragon of virtue, Civil Rights Hero and defender of those discriminated against, Mr. Andrew Young, has recently claimed.
You got a point there.
As the good judge asked...what's a yute? /grin
Psycho-social analyses that seek to shift the blame from the perpetrators to society, somehow, really never go anywhere. Using that logic we should all be criminals because life is not perfect.
An average of 115 cars a day have been torched in France. These being French cars, the damages are expected to amount to thousands of francs.
Yes, and certainly the French government has enabled these thugs. The generous social programs that enable them to live idle lives in their ghettos have made matters worse.
