Maybe all the positive news for the rats and the news that Republicans are disheartened and angry at their congressional representatives such that they are staying home will give rats a false sense of security and they'll be the ones who stay home. If that happens, they have nobody to blame except their kindred spirits in the media.

I so want them to lose. MSM has such a huge investment.

exactly. while it is true the media loves the dems and has been running nonstop coverage of speaker-elect pelosi (this story excepted) this story is just wishful thinking, or more likely just a ploy to sell more papers (doh!)

prepare for a dem majority in the house. and pray that GOP hangs onto the senate. sad but true. and the idiot house leadership has only themselves to blame.

I wonder if they finally surveyed, by party, who is registered and who claims they are likely to vote in this election? I've not seen that little number.

it's not time for Evil to even come close to prevailing ...

Pardon me, but what do you think happens every time we reward a liberal RINO with another term in office? (Hint: they don't side with America at crunch time.)

I lose no love over RINO's either, but the time to dispose of RINO's is in the Primary Election. Once the General Election comes, I will crawl over broken glass through a hurricaine if necessary to vote a straight Republican ticket.

RINO's vote with the party at least part of the time. DemonKats NEVER vote with us. It's an easy and simple choice in the general election, my friend ...

"not some loser 3rd party to "teach a lesson."

Yeah just piss them off some more and put them completely out of voting Rep in this seriously needed win.

My friend, anyone who would not vote R based on just that probably doesn't have enough sense to vote R in the first place. Certainly I'm not going to cowtow to such mental midgets.

The stakes couldn't be any clearer. Either a voter is for tax cuts, the military and homeland security, originalist judges and S.Ct. Justices, or they are OK with Nancy Pelosi's middle class = $40K or less, surrender to Al-Quieda attitude and will insist on judges and Justices that will find something in the Constitution that says "liberals are right on everything."

Voting 3rd Party is a vote for Pelosi as Madam Speaker. It couldn't be any easier to understand.

Sitting quite high in your superiority chair pretty happy with yourself I see. And you write a post whose message I've only heard 5 billion times.

Superiority? What because I state the obvious? Ha ha. Look, you are 100% correct. My post contains a message that has been repeated here and elsewhere by many, many. It's for a reason. THAT is the reality. Maybe you can't come to grips with it, but it's a fact. No conservative 3rd party is going to win a seat in Congress so a 3rd party vote is wasted. It's tanamount to voting Dim and for Pelosi and her crowd.

Here is another reality. People who vote 3rd party just to knock the GOP down a notch because they were unable to to fulfill all our wishes is the REAL hubris. Now when the GOP has a veto proof majority in the House and a filibuster proof majority in the Senate and they still can't push the agenday through then we can talk.

Now if you can tell me what is truly gained by voting 3rd party maybe you could sway me. But as I see it it's a crap shoot at best and a reciepe for disaster at worst. History has shown than when a party gets control of Congress it holds on for ten years or more. So if the GOP loses in Nov there is NO guarantee that they'll win it back in 2008, and after that it's Census time which means redistricting. Guess how that is going to turn out...not in the GOPs favor. That means at least ten years of Dim rule on the Hill. If the GOP doesn't win the presidency in 2008 then we are talking major policy reversals. They might as well rename the Potomac River "Little Seine."
