"That did not happen in 2002, because the Dems screwed up and Bush was popular. The pro-life vote and the Evangelicals, in particular, were a major factor."

One big factor you forget.

Every year millions connect to the Internet and don't depend on the old media for news or facts.

Conservatives control that market because they tell the truth and it makes sense to the average Joe.

Al Gore created a monster when he invented the Internet.

The following scene happens after the liberals lost elections big time in 2006 and 2008. They became vanishing whining beasts after the Republicans turned out in mass to keep Republican in power and to vote the Rats out of power.

I know I am getting OLD --- I had to squint to read that! The horror of age, but I want to postpone the alternative!

Paper will lie there just waiting for someone to speculate upon it -- what really counts is the vote, and many of us will hold our noses, but WE WILL VOTE AGAINST THE LIEBERAL/SOCIALIST/MARXIST BASTARD DEMOCRATS ON NOVEMBER 7!

I won't fall for this trap, I mailed my ballot in to Virginia a month a go!! The day I received the ballot, another mailing from the local dims came too, with the exact same address, down to the punctuation. They must have a mole working in Fairfax County, unless it's public info? I haven't received any mailings from the GOP. Hopefully, since I'm already a known contributor, they decided to save the cost of a stamp. Some wise a$$ in my office added me to the SCHUMER email list, so today I got another email from him, asking me to volunteer for WEBB. He said that WEBB was still 3 pts behind. Probably the Navy wouldn't let me put a lawn sign up in base housing anyway here in Yokosuka. Semper Fidelis!

PS -- JUST TRYING TO CONCEPTUALIZE A "SPEAKER PELOSI" OR A "MAJORITY LEADER REID" SHOULD GET OUT THE ANTI-DEMOCRAT VOTE!

BEST THAT IT DOES!

I have felt this for MONTHS---even before the "collective wisdom" of the GOP losing all over the place got floated for our consumption. I see no real difference in public attitude regardless of how the Iraq war is going. It is going to be quite dramatic when it is finally determined that there will be NO real change in the House. Maybe a few seats, but those attributable to the quality of the candidates rather than Bush or his Admin. You see, what the Dem spin machine, the "strategists" who appear everywhere, AND the Media in general do, it to tell you what they WANT to happen, not what they have an expertise in projecting what will happen, and WHY. They are hanging their hats on the conduct and disposition of the Iraq War,
and that hook ain't screwed in.

But Cardin, Ford, Webb and others would be more likeable?

The fence sitters are out there in the real world waiting to be persuaded one way or the other.

You're right.

And logic is on our side.

:-)

I just couldn't stand to see the United States of America left to the schemes of people like Ted Kennedy, and Kerry, Pelosie. Once they got their hands in there again, you'd never get rid of them!

Each of you needs to make a couple of phone calls, or talk to some people at work, or in your business, the guy at 7-11, your dentist, the postman, (/PC), your neighbour, etc.

That's what we did in the last 3-4 weeks before our election in January, and I believed it helped.

:-D
