Was it Ford or Obama who claimed to have a law license but turned out he didn't?

JUNIOR maybe talking like a conservative, but his "a href="http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1717575/posts">LIBERAL VOTING RECORD</a> says just the oppisite. JUNIOR counts on the fact that most people especially the MSM won't do the necessary research to find the TRUTH.

And Gore didn't carry Tennessee either.

No, but Gore did parlay his conservative reputation in the house into a senate seat, where he became a liberal icon.

Interestingly, I remember that before Gore ran for the senate, there was talk of him being a rising star in national politics who might be President within a decade. Deja vu all over again, isn't it? Hopefully this time we "nip it in the bud." /barney fife voice

I have a sneaky suspicion (just a hunch) that the MSM may be starting to wake up from their binge, realizing they've gone completely in the tank for the Dems. Though I never put any faith in MediaCrats, I wouldn't be surprised to see some of the biggies start hedging their bets this week.

One would think that if there's an ounce of sanity among the leftist media (I know that's pushing it), that they might at some point begin to reflect on the backlash that they are seeing emerge and begin to think "Uh-oh..."

No kidding here, though. There is a backlash building. I thought I was fanatical about voting the past three elections, but this time I'm ready to start dragging people in from off the street to vote straight R.

Certainly the rats have their shovels out, but I suspect they won't be able to disinter enough of the dead to resurrect enough votes to compensate for their folly this time around.

Here's to hoping...

It was taking too long to load, so I went to Youtube and searched for Corker ad.
All I got was nasty Ford ads about Corker!

OK, I typed Ford ad.
All I got was nasty Ford ads about Corker!

I've heard Youtube is biased, but even a search? Guess so.

I'm getting the distinct impression that Ford's campaign is coming unglued. Yesterday might the DemonRats showed a Ford commercial where he was criticizing Corker for wanting to stay the course in Iraq and win the WOT. The problem was that, after seeing the commercial, it was almost impossible to figure out what Ford was saying we ought to do. He was clearly trying to straddle the unbridgeable gap between the DemonRat moonbats whose votes he must have and who want to cut and run and the majority of Tennesseans who want to win the WOT. The result was incomprehensible gobbledygook.

The other good thing is his campaign's obvious lying slickness is wearing thin. From the very beginning he's run commercials that make him look like a Republican. The Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee has pounced on these like a duck on a June bug with one really great radio commercial that says Harold's a "really slick Ford" with only one defect--all it can do is make left turns.

More important, if a candidate starts looking really urbanite and slick in his commercials, he's going to come across as a lying, urbanized slime ball here in Tennessee. Clinton's a master of slickness because he manages to look like a good old boy when he's not. Ford just looks like an urban slickster and con man
