...capture the essence of the American experience. WTF??? The "essence" they show is America losing and America being torn apart. Some essence. I've bought Ford SUVs the past 10 years and am pissed at them sucking up to the homo lobby. Maybe it's time to switch to Toyota or Nissan.
To: InvisibleChurch
I saw it during Monday Night Football. It's garbage. I'm a dedicated Chevy Truck guy, but GM screwed up with me big time over this ad.

Toyota trucks are made in America, Indiana I believe, home of John Cougar.

I am not following you...
Tundras are made in Princeton IN. Toyota will build the 2007s in San Antonio and Princeton.

Well, Nissan's now giving benefits to queer "partners" so they'll be down the same hole as GM before long, I imagine.

It's the ad where half the US is burning and the other half is drenched under flood waters, correct?

This ad appears to be directed at the "Dixie Chicks" segment of the truck buying public.

am i the only one who has seen it? I'm overseas. I don't see current commericals. Is it a pre-election hit? Is it sublte or is it blatant?

Some abject similarity between Anti-USA John Cougar hawking American made trucks with film clips showing our warts while Toyota building a better truck 30 miles south of where Cougar lives seemed relevant when I posted it.
