The U.S. Justice Department is trying to determine whether Rep. Jane Harman, D-Calif., got improper help from an Israeli lobbying group. Harman of California is the senior Democrat on the House intelligence committee. Time Magazine reports she may have received a boost from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee when Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi wanted to remove her from the committee. Harman left a voice mail for the magazine calling any suggestions of improper conduct "irresponsible, laughable and scurrilous." She has retained Ted Olson, the lawyer who formerly served as President George W. Bush's solicitor general.

Sorry. I must be mistaken then. I thought that she was talking to her husband on her cell phone (?) while the hijacking was taken place, and it was on the flight over PA. I'm over 55, so excuse my memory. lol
I read on another blog that Ted just got remarried...I'm glad he has found new companionship. He is a great lawyer, Barbara was a great lady (and a freeper to boot).
ping a ling
Your age is not an acceptable excuse. I, too, am 55, and my memory is just as good as it was when I began typing this sentence.
I think.
As best I recall ...
Here's today's New York Times:

Finally someone is looking into the activities of that bleach-blond reptile on the Intelligence Committee. She should have been under constant surveillance after her blantantly anti-war comments all these months.
blatantly....sorry...need more coffee
Obviously, someone was watching her. They didn't start looking into this yesterday.
Morning, tol. I was just reading the article. We knew there was a tussle going on between Harman and Pelosi over Harman's position as ranking member on the Intel Cmte, but it looks like it really got down to some mud wrestling between the two leather faced "ladies" from California. Apparently, Pelosi was able to get Harman to go from acting like a fairly reasonable person who appeared to take national security serious to something quite different, ala the unilateral release of the report on Cunningham which has completely ticked off Hoekstra. It looks like Pelosi is pulling the strings now and Harman is dancing to her tune.
(don'tcha love it when FOUR PEOPLE tell you the same thing) < |:)~
It could get interesting as this continues to play out.
SOB, how ironic that she hired Ted Olsen as a lawyer.
A man whos wife was murdered on 911.
Lawyers are modern day hired guns.
about time...but a day late!!!!
besides...which of the msm will cover this story...
it is foley 24/7 ...never forget it!!!
She must be guilty if she's hiring such a high powered lawyer.
I hadn't read that it was her aide, only that she was upset about Hoekstra's actions. Who said it was her aide?
"She is the richest person in the House"
Richer than Dayton?
