Walter Cronkite helped sabotage the Vietnam War with his reporting.
The twenty four hour news channels are now actually presenting the enemies version of the issues on OUR news shows.
Is being Tokyo Rose to America legal now during war, and could we ever have won WW2 with a press like this?

Here's a quote from the article:
Now for the 9/11 Commission report. It disclosed that Clinton delegated to Berger national security issues and getting Osama bin Laden. Berger was presented with recommended plans to capture or strike at bin Laden at least four times: from CIA Director George Tenet in the spring of 1998 and June 1999, counterterrorism adviser Richard Clarke in December 1999 and the CIA again in August 2000. Intelligence knew where bin Laden was.
In all cases, Berger said "no." He wrote notes on the plans with comments such as "Seven to 11 families in the Tarnack terrorist camp could be casualties," and "If he responds, we're blamed," or "If we captured him we might not have enough evidence to convict him," or "I will want more than verified location to provide assurance he will remain in place."
There are no references for the statements in bold. Does anyone recall seeing this before?

By far, the most insidious practice of the nearly 90% liberal-controlled national media is how they select which stories and facts to cover and promote, and the special slant they give to each story. More important are the stories they choose not to cover and which facts they omit because they don't support their story angle or political objectives. This is definitely the biggest problem. The MSM plays up all of the Dems' accusations for weeks, and then does not tell people when the accusations are proven false; eg. Joe Wilson and the whole "Bush lied" fiasco.

You can't even trust the local media. Here in Mn. as it is in all 50 states have a local media as liberal as the National media.

The mainstream media is the closest thing to a fifth column since the Clintons left the White House.

Any reliable polls for the FL 16th? Sounds as though the good people of that district will VOTE and it will stay Rep...any thoughts?

I trust the media... to give me the sports scores.
Remember years ago when we were told if there was a perception of a problem, you have the problem.

It's not liberal bias. It's a dedicated, resolute purpose, using its forces completely for the promotion of leftist goals.
