Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called Israel a "countefeit and illegitimate regime that cannot survive", in a live broadcast on state television.

"The Zionist regime is counterfeit and illegitimate and cannot survive," he said in a spech to a crowd in the town of Islamshahr in southwestern Tehran.

"The big powers have created this fraud regime and allowed it to commit all kinds of crimes to guarantee their interests," he added.

I know very well how to think. My thoughts are based on absolute truth. I know a lie when I see it! It's kinda of like counterfeit money. I'd say that Iran is the bigger threat. ol' Mahmoud I'mamadnutjob thinks that he is the one who could help bring about the return of the 12th Imam, and thus Judgement Day. While it seems to me that North Korea, at least right now, is basically just talk. Plus, I'mamadnutjob's got a military equipped with considerably more modern weapons than Kim Jong mentally-Il's.

North Korea can start a war which could last 2-3 years and cost 50 000 American lives. It is impossible for them to win.

Iran can start a war which could last 20-30 years, cost a million or more American lives, and they could win.

I would say Iran is a much, much bigger problem.

Yep. You know, the last church we attended was a Democrat enclave with absolutely no connect with common sense as to the hypocrisy of their lip service to the gospel. My question was how could they vote for politicians who supported abortion and engaged in immorality and still sit so smugly in church every Sunday, so proud of their perfect attendance. Many of these same people were ruthless toward each other over the most penny ante garbage, nickel and dime stuff. New people generally didn't last there either; I know I, for one, didn't. Some of them were forever more complaining about the "Teflon People" who came and went from that church. I realized recently - that was a "Teflon Church", it wasn't the new people.

Iran's "president" hates Israel. Why? Perhaps he has taken a close look at Israel and compared it with his own primitive country.

His violent hatred is based on envy, the basis of most hatred.

Iran is hardly what you would call and industrial state. Iran couldn't make a paper-clip. Someone is building its nuclear cab ability. Who? Russia? Red China? France? Germany? All of the above?

Whoever it is, and our intelligence agencies no doubt know, we should go after that, or those, countries with sanctions and the threat of military force.

Please think through what it would mean to have simultaneous nuclear strikes on ALL population centers > 50,000 people and all refineries or shipping facilities...

And, once again, I didn't endorse it. I merely pointed out we are quite able to do it.
