Morning, snugs.

I made a pot roast in my crock pot Thursday. It turned out great.

Nancy, I used a modified version of your pot roast recipe so I could make a tastier gravy. I had only the dried French Onion soup, so I used that and added a beef bouillon cube to the water. The gravy turned out to be very tasty.

Yummy sounds great. I am doing one for dad and me today. With some turkey breast and the gravy will be the stock made from the chicken we had for roast last weekend boiled up with carrots, onion, parsnip, swede, green beans, mushroom soup mix and gravy granuals.

I will probably serve it with suet dumplings which I will do when we get in tonight as today is the Bromley trip.
