"Clint Eastwood's next film is supposed to be Iwo Jima from the Japanese perspective. "Seriesly? I was hoping for something from the European Theater that no one's done an historically accurate movie about...
The Battle of the Bulge, for example...

The Battle of the Bulge, for example...Band of Brothers is probably as good as you're going to get.

I will be glad to see this. Europe has been covered over and over again. It will be good to see something about the Pacific. The mud, rain and conditions they had to live in.

The Battle of the Bulge, for example...Band of Brothers did a pretty good job on that segment.

The Battle of the Bulge, for example... Waidaminnud...you mean Henry Fonda didn't personally stop the Wehrmacht with a buch of gasoline cans? Who knew?

Seriesly? I was hoping for something from the European Theater that no one's done an historically accurate movie about... I'd like to see some more on World War I but from the perspective of the ground troops. Like Flyboys but how about with early model tanks?

Realistic move about the Battle of the Bulge?
You HAVE to see Band of Brothers...the whole series.

The Battle of the Bulge, for example... But only if they call it NUTS! There's a great 20-minute film at the Bastogne Historical Center that details the battle. I wonder if you can find a copy in the US?
